Lovely charming location.

Location, quiet, cosy, convenient to explore the local area, also easy to catch the train into Paris. Michel is lovely charming host, he was really knowledgeable regarding the history of Auvers-sur-oise, and justifiably proud that the gîte features in one of Van Gogh's paintings. The short walk to the free parking space was actually very pretty and enjoyable at the start and end of each day.

The stairs.We were able to get up and down relatively easily, but if we were a little less able, due to age or disability, then the spiral stairs could be problematic.

Property full of character, very quaint, peaceful location, 5 mins walk from village

Excellent peaceful location. 5 minutes walk to village. We really enjoyed the Van Gogh sights around the village. Able to park car in free, safe public car park 2 mins walk away.

Adorable accomodation and town! Loved my stay here

I absolutely adored my stay here! It was the cutest property- had a great kitchen, washing machine, bathroom and super comfortable bedroom. Lovely garden as well and super close to all the main attractions in Auvers-sur-oise

This gorgeous apartment perfectly blends modern facilities with historic charm.

There is a very tight spiral staircase up to the bedroom and bathroom. It was perfectly fine for us, but some people might find it difficult.

The outside of the house is as beautiful like a fairytale . The inside is a masterpiece of efficiency and very tastefull decorated.

Superb

Fabulous place and location. Far exceeded our expectations. Has everything you need and more. Would highly recommend for sure and Michel was great as well! Only small drawback is the parking was about 2 blocks away, but free and no big deal at all. Beautiful courtyard and modern bathroom facilities. Would definitely go back.

Cosy, but difficult to sleep in

Convenient location, cosy decoration, well-equipped kitchen, the host is very nice and welcoming.

The water boiler is installed right in the bedroom. It's quite noisy at night, heating the water for the day, and it has bright blinking blue LED indicators. Remember to bring an eye mask and earplugs if you're planning to sleep. The shower cabin isn't insulated well. If you're not careful with the shower, you'll find the water leaking into the bedroom and then to the ground floor through the staircase.

Superb

The small garden was our favorite, we had our meals outside among the sun and the flowers. A lot of amenities and cooking utensils, we always cooked during our stay in the villa. The owners prepared cleaning products that made it easy for us to clean the kitchen after using. The internet and TV channels were great. The villa was well located, only 3 minutes away from the wheat fields from Van Gogh's painting.

We could see dusts in the corner of the rooms, and the shower tiles need a deep scrubbing. But the rest of the house was clean and nice.

Dir wohl authentischste Unterkunft bei van Gogh

Super Lage in der wohl bedeutendsten Straße des van Gogh Ortes, eines der Häuser ist im Werk des Malers verewigt!! Sehr authentisches Haus, große, liebevoll eingerichtete Zimmer, sehr ruhig. Essen kann man im Innenhof. Alles fußläufig zu erreichen, was es in Avers zu entdecken gibt. Das Auto muss man auf einem zentralen Parkplatz im Ort parken ( kostenlos)

Perfecte locatie, gîte is erg klein.

perfecte locatie als je Auvers wilt bezoeken voor Vincent van Gogh, alles op loopafstand te bezoeken. De gîte is zelf onderdeel van het schilderij "straat in Auvers 1880".

De gîte is heel erg klein maar heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. De wenteltrap is er smal en daardoor ook gevaarlijk. De mobiele airco en ventilator zijn niet afdoende in de zomer.

Attention à l’accessibilité de l’étage (chambre et salle de bain) Escalier en colimaçon étroit et de faible hauteur de passage Ce n’était pas un problème pour moi, mais il faut le prévoir (1,70m et une valise, il faut être très vigilant)
