About this cottage rental
This cosy cottage is perfect for couples wishing to explore Northumberland and is just a short drive to a golden sandy beach.. All on the Ground Floor:
Living/dining room: Freeview TV, Woodburner
Kitchen: Electric Cooker, Microwave, Fridge, Dishwasher, Washing Machine
Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed
Bedroom 2: Single (3ft) Bed
Shower Room: Walk-In Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial logs for wood burner included. Travel cot. . On road parking. No smoking. Small enclosed sitting-out area. Please note: The property is unsuitable for charging electric vehicles, but there is a public EVCP close by.. Number Two The Neuk is situated right in the heart of the welcoming small town of Belford where there are pubs, a tea room and a shop all within easy walking distance. The property has undergone a full rebuild, completed in 2018, and offers tastefully furnished accommodation all conveniently on ground floor level. The living room focuses on a lovely wood burner making this property a suitable choice regardless of the season. The kitchen is in pristine condition and both bedrooms and fresh shower room with walk-in shower are all immaculately presented too. Parking is available outside of the property on a quiet cul-de-sac.
Wooler sits at the foot of the Cheviot Hills and is a popular destination for those who enjoy outdoor activities only 10 miles west from Belford. Local amentities include a fish and chip shop, coffee shop and a Co-op. There is also the farm shop that sells local produce and has a varied menu on offer daily as have the local pubs with some offer food. The picture perfect coastal village of Bamburgh with its dramatic fortress and wide sweep of golden, sandy beach is a highly sought after seaside destination and is only 6 miles away.
The historic market towns of Alnwick to the south and Berwick-upon-Tweed to the north are equidistant at 15 miles away and offer a wide array of facilities. Beach 6 miles. Shop 300 yards, pub and restaurant 100 yards.

Had a wonderful week away at no2 cart shed. Everything you would need and lovely log burner. Very happy and would definitely recommend. It was so nice to have a decorated Christmas tree and decs

Lovely, well equipped cottage. Friendly owners . Thoughtful touches e.g wine and dog treats! Lots to do in this beautiful part of Northumberland. We would definitely stay here again.

A lovely cottage . Warm and cozy and very spacious. It was very well equipped and clean. The bed was very comfortable and the cottage was in a very quiet spot. So we slept really well. The log burner really made our stay and it was lovely to get back to the cottage and light the fire . Belford is a good location to explore the area and easy to get to being close to the main road network. Holidaying in February we expected it to be quiet but not that nearly everything was closed or very reduced opening. There was nowhere in Belford to eat on a Monday or Tuesday evening and even the chippy was closed . The other nearby towns also had similar limited opening. This was our first visit to Northumberland but I’m sure we will be back and would definitely stay at 2 The Neuk again.
