The property was clean, well kept and spacious. The little enclosed garden area was ideal for our dog and for sitting outside to enjoy the warm evenings. The location is perfect, close to the A1 and with just a 15-20 minute drive to Bamburgh and Seahouses. The complimentary 1 hour session in the spa was especially welcome.
The plumbing could be noisy at times when neighbouring cottages were running water.

The cottage was lovely. Only a short walk to fantastic beaches.
The apple Inn was really nice with great service but we were a little disappointed with the Sunday roast. Everything else was good.
We had to leave early, we paid for 3 nights but left after 2 due to personal issues at home but that was not a reflection on the property.
