House of colours - Relax, arte e confort per coppie, famiglie e gruppi

It was close to the old town, just a 10–15 minute walk away. There were several shops and restaurants nearby. The apartment was very spacious, with three bedrooms, a kitchen and living room, and two bathrooms.

The walls were quite thin, so we could easily hear noise from the neighboring apartment. Parking was difficult to find, but that’s true for most of Sardinia.

The location was excellent - a spacious apartment (three bedrooms, living room, two bathrooms, kitchen) perfect for our family vacation. We didn't lack anything, the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Easy access to supermarkets in the area/in the center. (15-20 minutes walk). We kept constant contact with Rita (before arriving at the location and during our stay there too) - thank you, Rita! We, for sure, want to come back!

I absolutely loved the place. The apartment is spacious and comfortable, colorful and enjoyable. Communication with Rita, the owner, was also great, from the moment we booked the place, over to arrival and key collection, all the way to leaving the place. Art pieces on the walls have a story on their own, but I'll leave future visitors to discover the story behind them on their own. The ceilings are high, the building walls super thick; beds comfortable; all kitchen appliances functional (we only used coffee machine and electric kettle). Nowadays we don't see such quality buildings. Master bedroom has its own bathroom, with a window as big as in the room. The kitchen was fully equipped for a longer stay, from coffee, sugar, tea, cocoa and all condiments, to all kitchen utensils, kitchen towels and table cloths. As in the rest of Italy, all garbage has to be sorted in separate trash bins (6 of them). For people from countries where recycling does not exist, this may be confusing and overwhelming. For families or bigger groups of friends, there are games and books. All in all, I loved the apartment and would definitely return.

There's actually not much I didn't like. Prior to booking, I saw the maps and knew the apartment was within walking distance from downtown and the nearest beach (so I don't understand comments by people who disliked this. You have the internet; do the research). It took us 15-20 minutes on foot to get to the old town, and a bit more to reach the nearest beach. It was perfectly fine for us to walk around the place. This place is in a calm residential area, so the nearest grocery shops are maybe 500 m away; the post office too. Some people may not like not having an elevator, but the apartment is on the second floor, so there are not many stairs to climb. My friend missed having house slippers, but I brought mine. And an extra towel per person would have been handy. One day we missed renting bicycles because the cheapest rental in town closes at 13 and reopens at 16.30, after siesta. I understand that the electricity in the apartment is controlled by a key, which we got; but since we only got one set of door keys we were kind of limited in leaving and returning to the apt. I do not understand having to pay extra if we need another door key. We travel together but don't necessarily need to spend all day together.

The house is very big and bright! It has absolutely everything you need for a short or a very long stay. It is very nice decorated😍 and spotless! Rita is a fantastic host, she gave us a lot of informations and was very helpful even in the middle of the night. Just arround the corner we could buy cigarettes and have a delicious coffee with croissants at La Piazzeta, just like true locals have for colazione. Spiaggia Maria Pia it's stunning for those who like to stay at the shade of big mediteranian pines and it's only 10 minute by car from the apartament. Congratulations, Rita!👏🏻
