Ottima posizione, terrazzo spazioso

Dalle foto e descrizione non avevamo capito che le camere erano completamente diverse, una molto grande, l'altra piccola. In due copie non è stato piacevole decidere chi avrebbe preso la camera piccola. Il benvenuto ottimo, poi però la comunicazione si è interrotta. Il giorno dopo avevo mandato un messaggio, nessuna risposta. Ho chiamato, nessuna risposta. Dopo che ho cominciato che abbiamo lasciato l'appartamento ho avuto la risposta.

Central location and ideal for sight seeing around Porto. Property was clean and tidy.

On the description no mention that the second bedroom was across the courtyard. Our friends had to knock on our door if they wanted to come in and make a drink and no handle on outside door to let themselves in. No hooks to hang up wet towels in the bathroom. Need more hangers. Smeg fridge was broken so used the small fridge that was in the kitchen. Smeg needs repairing or removing as quite big in the room.

Bruno was friendly and welcoming, gave me the grand tour. The property was spotless and perfect for our needs. The location is top class, right on the main pedestrianised shopping street, and only metres away from the Bolhao metro stop. Trindade is walkable too at just one stop away. Flat is well equipped. Lots of crockery and cutlery provided, plus glasses etc and a coffee machine. There are lots of little cafes nearby for breakfast and a good bar on the corner if you fancy a nightcap on the way home, The outdoor space was lovely, spacious and sunny. Air conditioning worked well. There is a washing machine and washing up liquid/laundry pods are provided. A large bottle of water is also gifted, nice touch.

Be aware that the flat is up 2 flights of stairs, not a problem for the fit and able, but could be an issue for some. This is not a 2 bedroom property, but rather a studio with a separate bedroom across the terrace with its own bathroom. This worked well for us but you cannot access the main building studio part from the outside terrace, so if my friend wanted a coffee or something from the fridge, she had to knock the door to be let in. The SMEG fridge was broken during our stay, luckily the replacement mini fridge kept the Vinho verde cold enough! Only one small towel plus a hand towel provided per person, some spares would have been appreciated for a 4 night stay and some hooks on which to hang them in the bathroom.

Great location in historical area of Porto. Had AC, washer / dryer, and a small kitchen. Decent size TV if one wants to stay in and watch a movie. Liked the outside patio and great space if it is not raining. It is semi-private. Only a few other units that have neighboring outside spaces. Host who was very friendly, did send list of places to visit and restaurants to try ... which was greatly appreciated. Overall decent place to stay and most of the things discussed below are minor.

Everything was kind of run down. I'm a contractor so I have low tolerance for shoddy work (I'm biased). Fridge did not work so there was a small replacement fridge shoved on the counter. Had to move the fridge just to use the kitchen counter. Lettering on microwave was worn off, so took a while to figure out how it works. Flooring in the back bedroom was broken and gives a few inches. Washer and dryer are outside but do work, loads do take a while. Lighting is not real good and place is kind of dark. One bed was pretty comfy, other one kinda hard. For the cost I was expecting more. Biggest annoyance, in my opinion, is checking in and having to wait for someone to deliver a key. Door code and lock box would be much better. Also weird instruction about turning key too far in the lock would make current key not usable. No issues getting in and out, but strange.
