Fantastic cosy central location for exploring the Rhine gorge.
Check-in was very easy as the owner messaged us with the location of the keys so we could let ourselves in with no delay -- which was great as it was almost dark when we arrived. It is in a great rural setting (dark quiet nights) overlooking the Rhine. Great for driving to the many tourist attractions and also for just going for a walk directly from the hut. There is a large, well stocked, Lidl a few minutes away in Kamp Bonhoffen which had everything we needed for self-catering.
The main improvement would be to the road that leads up from the town to the hut. It is a steep, single track, tarmac road with with many pot-holes which wasn't too much fun when we arrived at dusk with a fully loaded car. In daylight, taken slowly, it is OK.

Inmitten goldgelber Kornfelder auf einem Berg gelegen, bietet die gemütliche Unterkunft mit liebevoller Ausstattung, beq
Die Unterkunft liegt idyllisch am Hang, umgeben von goldgelben Kornfeldern, und bietet einen herrlichen Weitblick über die umliegende Landschaft bis zum Rhein. Besonders gefallen hat mir die durchdachte Ausstattung für die Selbstversorgung: Neben der vollständigen Kücheneinrichtung waren sogar Dinge wie Essig, Öl, Gewürze und Kaffeepulver vorhanden, kleine Details, die den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer machten. Die Betten waren zudem ausgesprochen gemütlich und haben für erholsamen Schlaf gesorgt. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war unkompliziert und sehr zuverlässig. Die besondere Atmosphäre des (Tiny-)Hauses lädt zum Abschalten vom Alltag ein und macht den Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz Besonderem.
Falls es überhaupt etwas zu beanstanden gibt, dann wären es Kleinigkeiten, die den insgesamt sehr positiven Eindruck jedoch kaum trüben: Die Zufahrtsstraße zum Haus ist in eher schlechtem Zustand und abends leider nicht beleuchtet, was bei Dunkelheit etwas unkomfortabel sein kann. Ein Stuhl auf der Terrasse sollte dringend ersetzt werden, ebenso wäre eine Überarbeitung der Bestuhlung im Innenraum wünschenswert. Die Couch passt weder optisch noch funktional zum Tisch und ist aufgrund der unterschiedlichen Sitzhöhe kaum nutzbar. Außerdem fiel ein leichter Geruch aus dem Abfluss im Bad auf.

Toll
Das Häuschen ist toll eingerichtet und hat alles was man braucht. Wir haben einen wunderschönen Sylvester Abend gehabt. Mit einer tollen Aussicht auf das Feuerwerk in Boppard. Im Haus war es super ruhig und auch unser Angsthund kam zur Ruhe. Vom aus an konnte man direkt tolle Wanderungen unternehmen. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.
