clean apartment on the edge of the historic center of oaxaca. very good communication with the owner. privacy.

As everywhere in mexico, there is a lot of traffic noise from the main road, and even other mexican guests do not respect the others. earplugs are necessary. I did not understand how the shower works, it cannot be regulated, it does whatever it wants.

A nice place to stay in Oaxaca

The rooms are in a quiet secure complex. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and we were glad to have a kitchen so we could self cater. Rooms were cleaned daily and the cleaner always left us a nice note. Staff were friendly and responsive.

It’s a bit of a walk to the town centre and other tourist attractions.

Good concept but noisy and non functioning shower

The layout and concept of the room is a good idea with a small kitchen attached where you can cook and make your own food. It was well stocked with kitchen utensils for basic cooking.

The location is noisy as it is right by a dual carriageway. It is also a good 20-30 minute walk from the main town. I also had barely any water to shower with, and whatever water I had was cold.

Highly recommended!

Stayed 4 nights in this comfortable & clean apartment. Kitchen had necessary utensils including a blender and coffee machine. Comfortable & large bed. Arturo was a brilliant host - willing to suggest anything we needed, even gave us a ride to the airport. Apartment was cleaned on alternate days while we were there, and 2 bottles of drinking water were provided. Area is quiet and felt safe walking at night. Brilliant value for money overall.

Might be a plus for some, but you could only communicate with the hosts through the doorbell which led to some confusion about stuff like how to pay and which keys do what. I suggest they leave a information packet in the room that clears stuff like this up

Great stay in Oaxaca!

I liked the location. It is close enough to the center of Oaxaca to go walking and close to other local supermarkets. The place is clean and it's pretty comfortable. I got delayed on my arrival due to local festivities and the owner stayed in touch and was comprehensive.

A great place to stay in Oaxaca

I stayed here for 3 weeks and really enjoyed it: -The host was very accommodating when I wanted to extend my stay. -The apartment was cleaned daily. -The location is quiet, safe and convenient for public transport. Only a ~20 minute walk to the centre. -Very reasonable price.

I was on the second floor and the room did get quite hot during the day. There is a fan though and you can open the windows.

The apartment has everything you need, comfy bed, fan, TV/Netflix. The Host is very helpful and responsive. The cleaning staff are great. I felt very safe. I stayed on Ground Floor - cooler. It has everything you need: 10 minutes walk from Chedraui supermarket and Santander bank, nearby local buses to Mitla and Tlacolula Sunday Market, local laundry 5 minutes on same street.

It is a little far from the centre, but that suited me - it’s an easy 20 minute walk or 70 pesos in taxi.

We had small issues with a toilet that sometimes couldn't flush due to water pump issues. Halfway through our stay, the stove wouldn't turn on. There was a miscommunication between me and the owner so unfortunately the problem wasn't resolved. I was not very persistent in getting the stove fixed as we didn't really need it.

Affordable and quiet place in Oaxaca City!

Very affordable studio apartment with all you need for a comfortable stay - cable tv, fridge, cooking facilities etc.

While the ground floor flats are clean and stay cool at night, the top floor apartment I stayed in was very warm and humid all night, and was not very clean with plenty of bugs. However, the top floor apartments are much cheaper so you get what you pay for I suppose. Location was a bit of a distance from the city centre, but was quiet at night.

Quiet location outside city center. Everything in the small apartment what you need. Safe area. Friendly and helpful staff.

Downstairs a little dark in the room. Definitely need some updates in the water supply : shower, water pressure , toilet refill does not work properly all the time. A little bit impersonal.

Good location, not central but only a pleasant twenty minute walk to zocolo. Place was super secure with obvious cameras in public areas and good solid modern construction. Good bed, great linens. Good daily housekeeping

Best one in Oaxaca

10*+ accommodation, comfortable, cleaned every day(wow), everyday fresh drinking water. We didn't expected such hospitality. There's everything you need, iron, dryer, TV, kitchen unit with oil, sugar etc. 18min walk to the centre, very pleasant walk through street art, decorations, colourful streets. Coffee shops all the way opened from 7am! On the other side of motorway is suburbs of Oaxaca and we went there late evening, got to street food place and at first we were a bit worried bacuse all eyes were on us, don't think they ever had tourist eating there. We were absolutely gobsmacked with kindness and attentive service we received. They were very happy and asked us to recommend them to other tourists which we will. Food was delicious, extremely cheap and a lot! We extended our stay in this lovely accommodation so total we stayed 6 nights. Highly recommended!

Good location close to the city center. Nice to have access to a kitchenette. Daily cleaning.

apartments were exactly as described… very big thanks to the owner who would like to give us blue from sky if we would requested :) really carefulness owner! all the furnitures and accessories were nice and clean. we had a little trouble in the shower, but I don’t think it was by this place or made by owner, but regular malfunction of electric pre-heater on shower head… (my boyfriend get shocked by really small power in shower) but owner reacted really prompt and carefulness as she was really worry about us and wanted to send engineers even over night to give us back all the comfort! therefore even this would be a really huge disadvantage, we were really happy how owner were reacting and supporting in such situation :) really thank you :)

for those who don’t like really jar bed mattress be careful ;) but this is our opinion don’t think it may affect others :)

Good for a short stay

It is a modern appartment and fully equipped. The Location was really good. The staff was really nice and helpful. The wifi worked good too.

The appartment is really small. The water was not running properly. We did not really have hot water. The light in the hallway was on the all night, it was hard to sleep. This is a noisy neighborhood too. The owner was rude at our arrival by text. I just mentioned that I had a booking price and she said I had to pay the taxes. I had to pay 20 pesos more than the price booking indicated. It was not a big deal, I did not mind but the owner lost her temper really quick when I asked. She told me if I had a problem with it I could find another place to stay. Really not good with clients. Also the fact that I had to send a picture of the money I was paying to the cleaning lady, I did not really like this trust issue. I never had to take pictures of my payment. They should have other facilities to pay.
