This spacious bungalow offers high-vaulted wood ceilings and a bright living room with a skylight. The beach inspired décor and comfortable seating, a ceiling fan, and a 42” wall-mounted flat screen make it the perfect place to relax and watch a movie when you are not at the beach or enjoying La Jolla Village.
Gorgeous hardwood floors and updated appliances and furnishings throughout the home also give it a warm, welcoming, yet serene feeling. There is also a dining table for 4 in this great room area.
Enjoy preparing meals for family and friends in the fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, a modern back splash, and all of the cooking essentials you need to meet your culinary needs. A quaint breakfast nook in the kitchen is a great place to have your coffee while breakfast is being prepared!

Such a cute and cozy place. Perfect location as we had a graduation at Scripps Institute of Oceanography. We were able to walk to graduation as the parking there is limited. Communication was perfect and informative. Walked to dinner ! Would definitely stay there again. Suggest a few more dish towels as no dishwasher… but not a big deal.

Stayed at La Jolla shores to visit our student UCSD. Perfect location for walks on the beach and feeling like a La Jolla local for a few days. Cozy, quiet and at the center of the universe. Everything that’s important any ways.

The good news ...location, privacy, parking, communication/response from Rose were excellent! There is a gas grill available out back that I don't believe was mentioned in the online description. Nice option if you want to grill. Nice to have a washer/dryer onsite. Also nice of Rose to allow an early check-in for us since we arrived a bit early.
What could be improved...There were some minor cleaning issues in bathroom that were quickly handled by a visit from the cleaning crew orchestrated by Rose. Not that big of a deal. The listing online stated that the property has a dining table w/ 4 chairs but it does not! The picture online shows a coffee maker on a small table in the kitchen with 2 small stools and a very small bench. No way can 4 people fit there. We questioned Rose about that before our visit but were told that the owners would not provide a table and 4 chairs. They offered a refund, but we decided to keep our reservation and just tried to use the small coffee table instead. The sofa and chair in the living room area are both very soiled as well as the rug. This was mentioned in a few older reviews but had not been corrected as of or visit. We also did not have hot water in the shower. There were a few other minor issues that could easily be addressed. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but with a minimal investment, the property could be significantly improved. The dining issue and inaccurate description online should be corrected immediately.
