OK seng og veldig hyggelig vert. Legger skylden litt på booking.com og meg selv for at jeg ikke skjønte at dette var et privat rom og ikke et hotell. Hvis det er et privat rom du er på jakt etter, er dette helt topp. Svært hyggelig vertinne, rent rom og bad, vann i kjøleskap, kaffe og te på rommet. Hun serverte også litt fersk frukt og snacks da jeg kom.

Prime location , has everything you need

I don’t know if it is because Oslo is so expensive or because it’s such a prime location but I found it to be very expensive

Quite a peculiar experience that made more sense after reading the previous reviews in detail and the fine print in the information. This is a room in someone's apartment being hired out. The room next door is the same and the host lives in the third room. Firstly, the host communicates via text/phone and was very polite on meeting her. She checks you in and explains everything. The location is perfect, with main attractions in Oslo nearby. The room and shared bathroom was clean. There's coffee/tea in the room with bedding and towels.

I think the listing is a little unclear - it's not clear enough that it's a shared bathroom (it lists both private and shared bathroom) Some other things listed aren't entirely accurate like minimart on site (it's a shop a short walk away). I Outside your door is the entrance of the apartment meaning you hear absolutely every movement of the adjacent room and the host. Even though rules are stated to be respectful and quiet, you can hear absolutely everything. The host is very strict on rules - which is a good thing, not bad. However, the rules are taped to the walls everywhere and mostly written in handwritten. Reminders like "do not touch" "please leave toilet clean" I highly recommend that all these rules are simply on a few pages in a welcome folder which the host could talk through. The handwritten signs on the walls really cheapen it. Finally, for a room in someone's apartment the cost is way too high even in Norway in peak season. Not their problem - they listed it and I booked it. But still, cannot say good value for money.
