About this house rental

Welcome to 3 Palms West!

With its close proximity to fun activities, there's no shortage of fun and space at 3 Palms West, a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom, 870 sqft. dog friendly duplex, sleeping 6, located in the heart of Gulf Shores, Alabama.

Large party? You can rent both sides of this duplex! There is an easy access door that connects both properties. Each side sleeps 6 for a total of 12 if you rent the entire duplex.

Even larger party? We also manage the house directly next door (it's called “Hook, Wine, & Sinker”). It sleeps 8. If you rent both the duplex and the house next door, you will have sleeping accommodations for 20.

***This property is dog friendly; however, you must notify the staff that you are bringing your dog along with you. We require and additional dog fee of $250.00 to cover the excess cleaning from dog hair. This is a one (1) dog max 40 pounds or less. ***

The main level offers a cozy living area with new sleeper sofa, love seat, coffee table and coastal décor. The kitchen is fully stocked with all pots, pans, cooking utensils, & plates & glassware you'll need to make yourself at home during your Gulf Shores vacation. Also on the main level is a half bath, small dining table, bar area, and the kitchen opens up to a large deck that is shared with the other side of the duplex. Upstairs you will find the Master Bedroom with a Queen size bed and a Guest Bedroom with a Queen size bed. There is a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo. The Master Bedroom opens up to a large balcony that is shared with the other side of the duplex. This duplex is dog friendly with payment of a non-refundable dog fee of $250.00 which covers the extra cleaning required due to dog hair.

BEACHBALL PROPERTIES VACATION RENTAL POLICIES:

RENTAL AGREEMENT: Tenant Vacation Rental Agreement must be electronically signed to secure your reservation. Please read carefully. This is a legally binding document.

NO SMOKING: All properties are non-smoking.

AGE RESTRICTION: Must be at least 25 years older to book a BEACHBALL PROPERTIES vacation rental. A person 25 years or older must be staying at the property for the entire duration of the booking. There will be no refunds issued for anyone booking under false pretenses.

CHECK-IN: Check-in is at 4PM. Early check-in is not possible, sorry but no exceptions.

CHECK-OUT: Check-out is at 10AM. Check out after 10AM will be charged an additional day.

DOG-FRIENDLY PROPERTIES: If you are staying at a dog-friendly property, you MUST notify us and pay a non-refundable dog deposit. Failure to do so will result in us charging your card for the entire amount authorized for damage.

MONTHLY/SNOWBIRD RENTALS: Available from November through February. Call to ask about monthly rates.

PARKING PASSES: 2 car max no passes required.

CANCELLATION POLICY RELAXED: Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in shall receive a 100% refund of the amount they have paid. For cancellations between 14 and 30 days before check-in, 50% of the total reservation costs shall be refunded. For cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the beginning date of the reservation, NO REFUNDS will be issued. Refunds shall not be issued for late arrivals, early departures, or inclement weather conditions including hurricanes and named storms. We do offer optional travel insurance which we highly encourage all guests to purchase.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING: Guests receive a “starter pack” of laundry detergent, dish washing detergent, one trash bag per trash can, and travel-sized shampoo, conditioner, and soap per bathroom. Starter supplies are not intended to last for the duration of your stay. Linens are furnished but please bring your own beach towels.

Literally 1 block walk from beach access!! And the location was great! We were able to walk almost every where. The place had everything we needed to make our trip great! And budget friendly. It was clean. Back deck was great! Not a thousand things to do before u leave like some rentals, just common sense stuff like dishes and air conditioning. Overall very satisfied with our stay, thanku so much 😁

15th trip to Gulf Shores. We were there for Hurricane Sally and survived with no running water or electricity. Felt comfortable inspite. This trip......After a 16 hour drive we arrived at unit. 96 degrees, 2 Garbage cans under entry stairs full of rotten food. Insects galore. Code for unit was wrong, took 30 minutes to get a code that worked. Unit was not as in photos or cleaned well. Got code for second unit that seemd cleaner. Photos in add had pics from both units. Decieving. We were told to stay in it. Later we looked on line and realized both units were rented so, not wanting to be in someone elses unit when they arrived we cleaned it and we moved at midnight to correct unit. Light bulbs burnt out. Light on back deck broken off wall. Conduits covering wires rotted away and wires exposed. Dishwasher leaked all over floor everytime we used it. Washer and dry on ground level in room full of broken toys, tools, and debris. Roaches running eveywhere. Found dead roaches in washer. Didnt even open dryer. Won't go there again..
