Kahu 'lo - Guardian Hawk

It was in nature and all conveniences were there

The layout and accessing the bedroom through outside and having to go outside when using bathroom in the middle of the night

The location was very good for me, off of the highway but only a few miles from the national park.

It was the rainy season and the driveway was a bit muddy.

The house was lovely and was a great jumping off point for our adventures on the Big Island.

Cleanliness upon arrival was a little sub-par but nothing detrimental. We ran into a couple minor maintenance or facility issues but they were generally resolved by support.

Clean property and in a good location for being at one with nature and exploring the volcano national park.

The property is not advertised properly. The bedroom is completely separate from the living and bathroom, you have to go outside and down the stairs to access it via a separate locked door. We were traveling with our infant so this was a major issue for us and we were unable to use the bedroom and had to sleep on the sofa (which is incredibly uncomfortable) as we couldn't be in a separate space from our 11mth old. For the price and convenience if I had known this I would have stayed in a hotel. They also have no cable TV and slow internet so while they have Netflix ect it constantly stops and buffers.
