Wonderful, but brick up the internal door and lock the outer door for extra security

More or less everything it was wonderful

Think the door to the main accommodation that had a curtain drawn across should be bricked up, then this place would be truly perfect

Spotlessly clean, comfy, cosy and convenient!

The Stoep is spotlessly clean, comfortable and has everything you need! Kath, the owner, is thoughtful, available if needed but not intrusive. Its really easy to get to by public transport, the bus station is less than one minute walk from the train station. The bus from Paignton to The Stoep takes about 10 mins and is very regular, I didn't wait any longer than 15 mins for a bus. The Stoep close to the south west coast path, a few mins walk away and the views from the property are stunning!

Just amazing

What a little gem of a place this is the location is central for beaches and numerous places of interest to visit its local for public transport and shops, super friendly hosts, amazing room with comfy bed very peaceful and the view was just stunning we have enjoyed this 5 day break so much weve made another 2 bookings didnt want to leave and cant wait to go back thankyou so much

Just what we needed!

Small room but ample for a comfortable stay. Ideal location for walks, trips. Kind and helpfull host and well organized. All you need for a good sleep and cup of tea or coffee and explore beautifull Devon coast.

Liked the table & chairs outside even though the weather wasn't too good.

We were blown away with the location & fabulous view we had. Liked the mini fridge for wine & milk Also the bus stops close by for visiting nearby Brixham, Dartmouth & Torquay

The Stoep - Paignton, Devon

The host (Kath) was welcoming. The accommodation is in a good location (on the Brixham side of Paignton), off the main road in a quiet residential street with a stunning view of the sea. It was spotlessly clean and had everything you needed to make a continental breakfast (crockery, cutlery, kettle, toaster, mini fridge (large enough for cartons of milk)). There was also tea, coffee, sugar, and biscuits. In the bathroom are shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and bubble bath to use. Would recommend and will return if back in the area.

Relaxing and enjoyable.

Location was excellent for travelling around local area. Clean and comfortable accommodation. Modern bathroom with great shower. Friendly, approachable owner. We had been warned about building works prior to our arrival and they really didn’t bother us. The sea view was lovely. Easy parking.

Fabulous! We were visiting friends in Brixham, and it was a fantastic place to stay nearby.

The location was stunning - overlooking the sea (and not just a tiny bit). Unusually for a guest room, crockery, milk, toaster and a fridge were provided, in addition to the usual kettle, coffee, tea etc. The room and the bathroom were really lovely, and spotless. There was parking; the accommodation was easy to get to. The host was lovely, friendly and very approachable and helpful. Our room was accessed via a separate porch and door, so was quite self-contained. The value for money was incredible, especially for this location.
