The view was indeed good in the morning (most probably just for my room with the view overlooking the ballons).
While it may be relatively near the train station it is far from the center which is more than 1km by foot. Also, since it os very close to the highway, most of the time you hear the noise from the trucks passing through. Also, theres no elevator and when youre on the 3rd or 4th floor, it would be a huge challenge especially when you have bags with you.

Owner was extremely friendly, free coffee and bananas in the morning in the lobby. Clean room, fresh sheets.

Great hotel, good rooms, amazing roof terrace that SD should tell more people about! Good aircon, good location, although be prepared that it is a 10-minute walk to the nightlife and bars. By far the best thing was SD himself, a genuinely great person who still runs his hotel with enthusiasm and is lovely to talk to.
The traffic can be a bit noisy at times.

The hotel didn’t have a lift. I’m nearly 65 and was on the top floor. The room was in need of decoration. Cobwebs in the bathroom and around the tv.
TV didn’t work. Large gap between door and frame. Internal slide lock could be easily opened from outside.
