Calypso 2-807 West

Location is great. Nice pool. Walk out to beach is good. Vending machines are great with a lot of stuff in them. Not just food but shampoo and all kinds of other things.

There was just a few things. The ladder on the bunk bed is super sketchy. I have two bunkbeds at home for my kids so they are used to climbing up and down bunkbeds and I had two of them fall off the ladder because of how hard it is to climb up and down on it. I couldn’t even get up and down on that ladder. The bed is pretty hard but the pillows are even harder. I think if I used a rock as my pillow it might have been softer. I woke up the first night with a headache and purchased a $4 pillow at Walmart and slept fine after this. The flooring in the “master” bathroom is coming up and my shoe got caught on one of the pieces and I almost tripped. Also the nice shower is in the hall bathroom and the outdated shower is in the master bathroom so anytime my husband and I wanted to take a shower we used the hall bathroom. The towels are really bad at leaving white fuzzies on everything after you wash them. Other than those things it was really not a bad stay. I think my main thing would be the bunkbed ladder and the hard pillows.

location was perfect. easy to find. everything within walking distance or a short drive. easy access to room and very aesthetically pleasing design

some of the blankets had unpleasant odor and there were some bugs in the kitchen. other than that it was clean.
