Escape to the winter beauty of Moosehead Lake, offering stunning lake views and direct access to some of the best cold-weather activities in the region.
We are directly on Moosehead Lake.
* Snowmobiling: Direct access to lake trails makes it easy to hop on your snowmobile and explore the miles of scenic routes.
* Ice Fishing: Step outside to prime ice fishing spots right on the lake.
* Big Moose Mountain: Ski, snowboarding, or hiking through breathtaking winter landscapes.
Located directly on Moosehead Lake in Tomhegan Cove, Rockwood, ME.
We live here year round and are available to help make your visit enjoyable!
We have a full house generator, full house water filtration system and Starlink Wi-Fi ~ No worries about power outages, unsafe drinking water or lost internet!
Getting here after the main road is 8 miles of well maintained dirt roads (Northern Rd to Baker Brook Point Rd)
* 4WD vehicles are required during winter.
Our warm and inviting apartment offers everything you need for a comfortable winter retreat:
* A fully equipped kitchen for hearty post-adventure meals.
* A cozy living area to relax after a day in the snow.
* Comfortable sleeping arrangements for up to 4 guests.
* Parking for cars, snowmobiles, and trailers. (2 Vehicles / 2 Snowmobile Trailers Max please)
The apartment is above the heated garage on the 2nd floor.
Winter access to the 2nd floor apartment is through the garage. There’s an additional entrance from outside, if needed.
We live here year round in the main house and also use the garage.
You will have keys to lock access to your rental space.

** Please know we have security cameras only on our main home where we live. There are no security cameras in or on the rental apartment/garage.

Luke and Deb were nothing short of amazing. Their hospitality is so genuine and staying in the apartment in the detached garage at their home was perfect. There was a winter storm on both of our travel days and because their other guests stays would not have been impacted by adjusting check in/out days we were able to adjust our plans by 1 day preventing us from driving in a storm. Upon arrival, Luke was so helpful and accommodating. The apartment was perfect for our trip- ice fishing and snowmobiling were done right from the front door. Though not child proof, our young kids had a blast with the bunk beds and making a fort. The kitchen had everything we needed for our stay and the living room was cozy. Would definitely book again! Thank you, Luke and Deb!

Very nice place, private dock and fire pit by lake, volleyball net, 2 car garage, kayaks there for your use, super fast Elon Misk Starkink internet. Only issue was there was surveillance cameras all over the place outside, literally..
