The property sleeps 4, with one double room with en suite shower room, one twin bedded room and a family bathroom.
A fully fitted kitchen/diner is complete with electric oven and grill, gas hob, microwave, washing machine, fridge freezer and nescafe dolce gusto coffee machine. Dining table seats four.
The property benefits from gas central heating throughout.
The lounge has been tastefully decorated and provides a comfortable place to chill after a busy day - a four seater sofa is provided, additional chair, flat screen tv and dvd player.

We had a very good stay at Hirst, the property was very clean and in perfect location to the main beaches and harbour with many great options to eat and explore. The communication was excellent and we had an amazing trip, will most definitely be back.

My sister and I chaperoned our 80 year old Aunt to Cornwall. We stayed 4 nights at Hirst at No 8. It was perfect for us. Fully equipped Kitchen, lovely sitting room facing a fenced patio. En-suite for the master bedroom, we let our Aunt take that room. The apartment, or annex is bigger than it looks in pictures, all one level. I told Angela it’s the cleanest place I have ever stayed, it was spotless. Great base for us. Thank you Angela and Stuart!

Hirst is a spotlessly clean, well equipped, comfortable property with a parking space in a quiet location in Padstow. We received a warm and friendly welcome from Anj and Stu who made sure that we had everything we needed and gave us recommendations for walks and beaches. We were super lucky with the weather and were able to appreciate the stunning coastline and beautiful beaches. All in all, a fabulous holiday.

We had a lovely time at Anj & Stu’s property. The house had everything we needed and more. Lots of extras such as tea, coffee, sugar, oil, foil. 8 Hirst was a wonderful location…not in the village, but close to it. The walk to town wasn’t too challenging for those in the party with hip and knee issues. If we werre tired, we took our rental car and parked in one of the parking lots. We loved the layout and found everything we really needed was there. Angela and Stuart were very hospitable and helpful. You won’t be sorry if you book this Vrbo.

Hirst @ No 8 was the perfect Cornwall stay. Immaculate, comfortable home from home (with a parking space) and easy within walking distance of Padstow. The perfect position to get to all the sights, with easy access to Port Isaac (Doc Martin), Newquay airport, Truro, and St Ives artists’ harbour village. Anj and Stu made us very welcome with many added extras, including flowers and Easter chocolate! As we live in Australia, a long journey, but well worth it!

A really beautiful bungalow which met all of our needs for a family holiday. This is a great location as it is within easy walking distance of Padstow and also convenient for visiting other places in Cornwall. We are really struggling to find any fault whatsoever with the property and Anj and Stu were great. Would we recommend this property… yes definitely.

The bungalow was immaculate, had everything we needed and more. We felt really at home and enjoyed sitting in the beautiful garden. We stayed a week and it was wonderful. Great location and Anj and Stu were so welcoming and helpful. It felt like home from home and everything was so well presented and immaculate. We were lucky with the weather so ended up mainly using it as a base but it would be cosy to stay in if we hadn’t been blessed but the weather. We have been coming to Cornwall for the last 15 years and would definitely book Hurst@no8 again. Thank you!

Exceptionally clean, well equipped, stylish bungalow a perfect base for exploring Cornwall. Hirst at no. 8 had all we needed - Anj has thought of everything! (Thank you for the milk, tea/coffee and biscuits on arrival). Lovely private patio with garden furniture at rear to chill out at the end of the day. Off road parking a bonus as only a short walk down to harbour (this is a real benefit in peak season!) - could not fault this place, exceeded expectations.

it is very close to town, 9 minutes, it is close to the bus stop and to a good supermarket, there is a sunny outside patio with table, the lounge is spacious & comfortable. I was staying in Padstow for a walking holiday so ate breakfast and all but one dinner in the property and the kitchen had everything necessary. It is very quiet. I would make 2 adults sharing the second bedroom aware it is not that big but that should not be a problem. The owner offered every help necessary. I would recommend it and would certainly go back if visiting Padstow again. The washing machine & second bathroom were very useful as was the parking space for a car.

Ideally located out of the town centre in a quiet road, but only a short walk from the town centre and harbour. The property was spotlessly clean and well furnished. We were greeted by the owners who live next door. Anj and Stu are very friendly people and willing to give help and advice without being intrusive. Off road parking was a bonus. I highly recommend this property.

This property had everything it said on the tin and more we loved it, from the friendly check in after a 9 hour journey to the house keeping visit halfway through our 2 week stay. The accomodation was very up to date, clean and tidy and had everything we needed and nothing was too much bother for our hosts. The Hirst is in a great position for either taking in Padstow itself and the lovely surrounding walks and cycles or for driving to some of the must see places in Cornwall. This was about our tenth trip to Cornwall and one of our favourites and when we come again we will definitely stay here.
