We stayed here for a week as a family of four (two adults and two teenagers) and had a truly wonderful time. The house is very comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The interior is a bit old-fashioned, but in a charming and authentic way, and honestly it only added to the atmosphere of the place. The beds were very comfortable, and we especially appreciated that all the windows had mosquito screens — such a great feature in Sicily. The outdoor area was fantastic: plenty of space to sit, sunbathe, cook, and simply enjoy the surroundings. The beautifully lit garden made the evenings feel really special. There was also a BBQ and even a pizza oven available. We didn’t end up using the pizza oven, but it was still a very nice touch. Parking was easy and convenient. The location was excellent — peaceful and private, at the foot of the mountains, with easy access by car to larger towns, shops, and restaurants. The beach nearby was beautiful and quiet. It’s rocky rather than sandy, but that meant crystal-clear water and a much more natural atmosphere, which we really appreciated. Both the property and the beach felt very private and relaxing. The house is also a very good base for exploring this part of Sicily. A special mention goes to the host, who was very friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay. One feature we personally loved was the outdoor bathroom/shower area — taking a shower outside in total privacy, surrounded by the Sicilian atmosphere, was such a unique and enjoyable experience. Overall, we had a fantastic and very relaxing stay, and we would happily recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful holiday in Sicily.

Very comfortable for a family. Great views and surroundings.

The house inside is very well protected against insects. However, you have to be prepared to protect against them in the outer part. Otherwise, you will not benefit from the very nice garden.
