A perfect base for exploring the Jura region, with all the comforts you need.
Fantastic little flat in a charming old cottage, well planned with quality furniture and fittings. Right outside there’s a table and chairs where we enjoyed our evenings under a “roof” consisting of a large vine which must be well over a hundred years old. There is also a little garden you have entirely to yourself, with a BBQ (which came with coal and everything else you need). The host couple Anne Lise and Mathieu are lovely, friendly, charming, and helpful people who live in the same building. At the same time, you have complete independence. The flat is a duplex and the staircase to the upper floor (where the bedroom and shower are located) is fairly steep. It didn’t present a problem for a healthy 50-something like me, but those with mobility problems may find it a challenge. Stairs aside, the flat is very dog friendly and our Shiba Inu enjoyed it as much as we did, especially the garden.
We stayed for a week and this cottage was the perfect base for our explorations of the Jura region. There is no air conditioning but the cottage is built in the old way with thick stone walls and window blinds, meaning the inside temperature is fine even when it is very hot outside (especially on the lower level). The neighbourhood is quiet, safe and within easy walking distance of the picturesque Arbois town centre. Safe and free parking is provided next to the flat, literally right outside the kitchen window. There is a huge supermarket just a few minutes’ walk away, neat and cheap with excellent vegetables. The Wi-Fi is reliable and fast. As a bonus the supermarket offers two spots with free EV charging 24/7. I only wish we had booked it for two weeks instead of one. Highly recommended.

Nice stay and well location in the charming city of Arbois
The location was perfect!Only 10mn walking by feet from city center.
It is pity that we could not wash our hands in the toilet. As the bathroom was upstairs we had to wash our hands in the kitchen.
Other point, there was no door to separate the bedroom and the living room. Lack of intimity.

Great Arbois base for town and countryside
Close to town plus surrounding countryside and wineries. Compact basement flat in a lovely old building we thought nicer in reality than in the photos, windows open onto the quiet street. Bbq, garden and bikes available.

Schon zum 2. Mal hatte ich einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in dem gemütlichen Haus. Es ist sehr ruhig und man kann direkt davor parken. Ich komme wieder.

gut ausgestattete, ruhig gelegen mit tollem Supermarkt fussläufig zu erreichen. Man war mit dem Auto schnell im Zentrum von Arbois. Ich komme wieder.

A deux pas d'une grande surface
Appartement très propre, aménagé avec goût, tout est à disposition (linge de maison, linge de lit, linge de toilette...)
Le gîte est situé dans un village agréable et proche de bon nombre de sites magnifiques à visiter sans faire de longs trajets en voiture.
Nous avons séjourné une semaine dans ce gîte et je pense que c'est le temps idéal pour visiter la plupart des sites intéressants aux alentours

Ne pas passer par Arbois sans goûter à leurs merveilleux vins et leurs superbes fromages fabriqués en fruitières bien sûr !
Pour les restaurants nous conseillons vivement Le petit Jurassien et son coq au vin jaune, ainsi que la Finotte et sa fondue jurassienne. Bien d'autres restaurants sont présents mais nous n'avons pas eu le temps de tous les faire !
