Secret Spot Lagoon Dream

No AC in the living room.

Very well appointed chalet, though the one bedroom with the sofa bed was a little tight for a family of four, but with very high quality fixtures & fittings throughout. But the beach area, with infinity pool, small sandy beach & multiple seating areas was very cool & the key reason to stay..!!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Secret Spot Lagoon Dream—it truly lived up to its name. The location right by the lagoon is stunning, with spectacular sunrises and sunsets, and having access to a private pool and seating area by the water made it feel like a dream. It was such a peaceful and special place to enjoy my mornings with coffee and relax in the evenings. Doris was incredibly kind, responsive, and helpful throughout my stay, and Matthieu (the owner) was also very attentive. They truly went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. Doris even prepared a beautiful fruit platter for me, which was such a thoughtful touch. The accommodation itself was very well equipped. The kitchen had everything I needed, including an espresso maker with pods, which I really appreciated. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was modern and clean. It was also a big plus to have both air conditioning and fans, especially given the heat and humidity. I also appreciated that the property felt private and secure, with a gated parking area for the car. At the same time, it was conveniently located close to restaurants and shops—everything was just a few minutes away. Another highlight was meeting other wonderful guests and families by the lagoon, while still having plenty of quiet and privacy most of the time. Overall, I felt safe, comfortable, and completely at ease during my stay. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Moorea.

At times it was a bit noisy with neighborhood dogs barking but the owner was very quick and responsive and messaged the owners of the dogs to ask them to quiet down which worked!

Everything was very clean, and Dorris was really lovely and helpful.

The bungalows are very dated and old. Everything is clean and works well, but aesthetically it’s not up to the island vacation vibes we imagined. The pool is across the street and has a serious ant and fly mosquito problem. Not a great view
