It’s a nice log cabin, it was nice and warm inside and the furniture was comfortable. It could be a lot nicer. It was a cheap room rate. It was in the right location for Stepantsminda.
The kitchen was falling apart. We paid a 150GEL cash deposit, but were only offered 140GEL back with the remaining offered in small change. It seems an unnecessary system. The property was inspected before we got the deposit back and I left some toiletries in the bathroom which the hostess didn’t mention. The power was out in the morning so the bathroom was dark. The shower drain was blocked so I had to unblock it, the bathroom smelt unpleasant. The pillows smelt old and musty.
