The reception from arrival to departure has been splendid. I really enjoyed the stay and the food. The environment is overwhelming

Isolated high up in the remote mountains, perfect for a retreat.
Not very classy but well cleaned family chalets equipped with fire heater, electric blankets, electric heaters in bedrooms plus additional blankets for chilly nights.

Motebong is a former construction camp for the Katse Dam construction crews. Each cottage has been lovingly restored to look and feel like the period they were built in. Our cottage was right down by the dam itself and was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The area is quiet and relaxing. It is the perfect place to stay and take a drive down to the Katse dam wall, where you can go on a very interesting tour of the dam wall itself. The drive to the dam wall is also beautiful.

Well positioned on the Katse Dam and very picturesque
It is very dated, could definitely do with a revamp and cleanup
