Spiros apartment in the center of Preveza Dodonis 32

The location was good

Wasn't very clean

The location is excellent, very central, although Preveza isnt a very big town so pretty much anywhere is quite close to the middle of things. My room was one of four adapted from one original apartment, everything was clean and well-maintained - in fact I think recently decorated. Management is from afar, no one is actually present.- Written messages go through a translator app, judging by the grammar of the responses. That said, the responses were always prompt, and my requests (electric kettle and an extra blanket) were fulfilled next day.

My room smelled of cigarette smoke, regardless of all the rooms being non-smoking, someone had been discourteous enough to ignore the request - this is certainly a downside of remote management. The only person I saw was the cleaning lady who was always cheerful and helpful.

I could park directly unter the house, the historical city center and the harbour are accesible within a couple of minutes on foot, the apartments and the whole house are super clean and the applianaces, the bed etc. (Jan 2026) new. Shampoo in the shower and lots of clean towels were included in the price. Hair dryer, TV and fridge too. The appartment was quiet und although heated via ac unit it was realy warm (stayed there in the middle of the winter- at the End of January). Host and his wife are realy friendy and available on site and on the phone whenever needed.

The shower was part of the bathroom, I mean the water flows on the bathroom floor and on the toilet seat. Although super clean, one needs flip flops just to be on the safe side. The room was on the 3rd floor with no elavator, for me not an issue, but one should ask for a room on the first or second floor should climbing so many stairs is not consiedered an option.

Did what it said on the tin. Cheap and basic. It was OK.

Once you showered water went straight to the floor do that everytime you went toilet you got wet feet and made the bedroom floor wet. Oven to cook things but no cutlery. How do you eat what you've cooked? Rooms so close together we could clearly hear the neighbouring TV, so much so the occupants of room 2 started banging on the door of room 3 at 3 in the morning to demand they turn down the volume nearly resulting in an altercation. Not conducive to sleep.
