Overall, while we appreciated the host’s friendliness and the excellent location, we were disappointed that we had to ask for basic necessities instead of having them provided from the start. With better cleanliness, improved sound insulation, and a few thoughtful amenities, this apartment could offer a much better guest experience.

Our stay in Deauville was unfortunately disappointing. While the apartment is in a great location and the host is a kind and pleasant person, there were several issues that significantly affected our experience. The first thing we noticed upon entering was a very strong smell of wood, which was quite unpleasant and overwhelming. The apartment is also located on the ground floor facing the street, so every time someone entered the building or tried to open the main door, the noise was clearly audible from the bedroom, making it difficult to relax. The amenities were very limited. There were no toiletries provided, only two towels for a three-night stay, and no welcoming touches such as bottled water, coffee, or tea. These are small details that can make guests feel more comfortable and welcomed. The apartment also needs a thorough deep cleaning. We found dust and dirt behind the bed in the bedroom, which gave the impression that some areas are not cleaned regularly.
