Relaxing and amazing thank you

The amazing views and of course the pool!

the showers were little bit crusty for my taste but otherwise good. Also very far away from everything if you are not ready to rent the scooter

Swimming pool and the staff

Room was quite old and a few things broken, definitely not a 4 star. The biggest problem was the mosquitos. I spent hours killing some, not exaggerating but over 1 hundred. Next day they game me a can of poison almost empty.

Kind staff and relaxing place

The location was about 30 minutes from the pier, away from the crowds, shops, and restaurants. The pool was excellent with an amazing view of the forest. The only downside was that the room door didn’t close properly due to humidity, which allowed many mosquitoes and insects in, and there were no mosquito repellents. The staff were excellent and welcomed us with drinks. The price was also great.”

The pool was right outside our door and the pool,furniture was great. We rented a motorbike to get around so that was more freedom. The food was super tasty and breakfast was truly filling. Monkeys were around but didn’t hassle anyone. Pool was perfect temperature as well and very clean. We would go back to this place for sure. Staff are very helpful, they organize taxi, cook great meals, and fun to chat with.

The property was what we were looking for so we basically liked everything!

Relaxing, comfortable stay with super friendly staff

We had a brief but peaceful stay at Abasan Hill Hotel and Spa. The room was extremely spacious and very comfortable, the bed was perfect. The pool is large, clean and surrounded by greenery which felt relaxing - use mosquito spray if you take a dip in the evening! The restaurant was essential for our visit as the hotel is in quite a remote area and there didn’t appear to be any other options nearby - the roads are also difficult for cars to travel down. We really appreciated having the restaurant and the evening meal we had was delicious. Breakfast is served until 10am but I would recommend not turning up between 9:30-10am as they start to close the service. The staff still kindly made us smoothie bowls and drinks, but the normal service had finished by 9:45am. The staff were all lovely - super welcoming and friendly and on hand to help. The lady at reception was particularly nice and always welcomed us with a big smile. If we were ever to return to Nusa Penida, we would certainly book again. Definitely recommend for a relaxing and comfortable stay :)

It was slightly tricky to reach as it was quite remote and the roads are bumpy but we still managed to book taxis so it was okay.

Very much Hyped and way overpriced.

Nothing to boast about.

This place is nowhere near any prominent landmark or attraction. Basically this is in middle of nowhere in Jungle. Roads are scary and I would not recommend you to drive yourself. Scooty is a big no no on these roads. If you like adventurous, go ride a dirt bike or something, but driving on these risky roads. Staff is nice and tried there best to accommodate with whatever they could, but you have nothing beside bathing in that small pool, which is enhanced by trick pictures and angles. Won't recommend for a family. Breakfast is very basic. Water is provided in reusable bottles ( hope it was filtered). Apart from it, there is NOTHING. Final: Save your Money, way overpriced for the facilities provided. Lot of other decent hotels in downtown area could be booked at same price or even better price.

The views from the property were beautiful and the pool was really nice. All the staff were so lovely, especially Novel who was always so kind, happy and helpful!

Not recommended, don’t waste your time. Won’t book it again

Nothing to like. Maybe kindness of the staff, which is expected The reviews and the rating seem artificial. I fell into this trap.

Location - hard to get there on any transport. Forget about walking despite being close to harbor. Very noisy rooms - you can hear absolutely everything: AC, water pump noise, music from the restaurant of the hotel. Music was turned off upon the request at 10:30 pm. AC sound and humming noise of the water pump was too much to handle Bathrooms are extremely dirty. The smell from chemicals is so strong. Good I booked for only one night thinking if it is okay then I can extend. But we changed hotel right the next day.

Excellent value for money and really friendly helpful staff.

The staff were excellent , especially De Ardana who went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed . We stayed in the presidential suite which had huge windows in the bathroom which we loved .

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like really . If I had to say one thing , it would be that the bath could do with replacing .

Really great service from the personel, who was Always helpfull and caring for us. They Always askes about our day and put on a service few can match. The place was great, dont worry when the Road there feels a bit rough, the end is great If you stay here, you have to say hi to the cutest cat Ralf. Ralf was such a mood setter and we loved him.

Nightmare!

Really bad hotel, pool bar doesn’t work even though it didn’t say anything on Booking. Receptionist was supposed to book us a driver to the harbour but he forgot, we missed our ferry, refused to refund the money. Didn’t even apologised, very unprofessional, would not recommend staying here! Worst experience! Stay somewhere else!

The staff were amazing, rooms were modern and cleaned everyday Spa was brilliant also Food menu limited due to off season but still good. Gooday the front of house was very helpful and professional. Abasan Hill Hotel has a lot of potential, but is currently very sub par.

The staff were so kind and friendly. The location was close enough to the main bars and restaurants near the harbour, but far enough to feel a bit secluded. The mie goreng was pretty tasty. The bed was comfortable.

Very disappointed in the room, particularly the bathroom. The door didn't even close properly. The first day our shower drain didn't work and water covered the whole bathroom (lucikly this problem was quickly fixed by the staff). We had to ask for toilet paper and they did not have a hand towel or hand soap to give us. We only had hot water very sporadically...most of the time it was cold water. The bathroom also smelled quite bad and looked in bad shape. The noise was absolutely horrible. We couldn't sleep past 4:30am when the singing and praying started, then the birds, roosters and dogs making tons of noise until at least 7am. We stayed 5 nights and felt very tired each day after not getting proper sleep. The pool was lovely, but not once was a bartender there to serve drinks so we decided not to use the pool and go to another place, like a beach club for drinks. The road to the hotel really needs improving. It was possible by scooter, but not always safe, especially at night.

Barely got any sleep. Call to prayers every morning at 4 or 5am. Add roasters screaming all morning and dogs barking. Rooms are not well isolated so you hear everything. No shower curtain so entire bathroom got wet. No glass in the room to use for drinks. Only small cups. Road to the hotel is really bumpy (bad roads in general on entire island)

Very good

Nengah was amazing! She made sure we were comfortable and organised whatever we needed! She made sure we had scooters, taxis and boat trip sorted - we didn’t, she organised it all for us! The stay itself was good! Good food and drinks, quiet and relaxing. Not the place to party. Very cultural so be prepared for cultural music late at night - early morning, we were completely fine with this. Overall it was a great experience!

Very satisfied with this accommodation

The accommodation is very remote which is ideal for relaxing. There are lots of places to unwind, such as the grassy spot above the pool bar. Very nice view and we also had very good food there. The staff is very friendly and the beds sleep very well!

The accommodation is quietly secluded but difficult to find on the map. We eventually found it using the directions you can find through booking.com which is helpful!

when we came there was no power , we waited for four hours in candle light.. it was dark everywhere and atlast fallen asleep. all members in my family adjusted in two rooms only because nonone wnated ti stay alone in dark. one room is compleyely unutilised.

Loved the pool area and the AC in the bungalow. Wonderful staff! The owners Made & Arini knows everything about the island and happily arrange tours wherever you want to go. The cleaning is superb and don't forget to try the mozzarella pizza :D

Disappointing

The staff was really helpful and nice to us, they responded to our requests very carefully. The pool here is really clean and nicely located, you can have a good view of a small valley.

The road unfortunately is really bad around the property but this can be applied to several places in Nusa Penida. There was a quite loud praying nearby in the evening and in the early morning we received earbuds but sleeping in conditions like this is not so relaxing. Beaches are quite far from here so if you want to go swimming in the ocean you better need a taxi or a scooter.
