On the heights of the green area of Sarlat, less than 2 km from the medieval city, this old mansion dating from the 18th century overlooks a well-preserved and very little urban valley. In the countryside while being only 800 meters from all shops (hypermarket, bakery, pharmacy etc.), you can also, for good walkers, walk to the historic center of Sarlat from the house climbing the hill by a wooded path.
Family house now available for rental, it is located on a private property of 5 hectares of meadows, terraces and forest nestled on the hillside, of which you will be the only occupants and where you can enjoy the beauty of the site. perfect independence. The dry stone terraced gardens conceal unspoiled corners of nature conducive to rest and contemplation. The small square "parish garden" will offer you aromatic herbs and small pickings depending on the season.
The house, completely renovated and furnished with respect for its character, will charm you with its authenticity and comfort. It is distributed over two floors and includes 4 bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen and a dining room, as well as two bathrooms with WC.
For the comfort of a group of 6 people maximum, we offer all the equipment of a personal home:
• The rooms :
- Bedroom n ° 1 (on the ground floor): 160cm double bed, wardrobe, armchairs…
- Bedroom n ° 2 (upstairs): 140cm double bed, large closet, armchairs ...
- Bedroom n ° 3 (upstairs): 140cm double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, etc.
- Bedroom n ° 4 (upstairs): two 90cm single beds, wardrobe, chest of drawers, armchairs ...
The beds are made for your arrival (with duvet and two pillows per person).
• The bathrooms:
- Shower room with shower cubicle and WC (on the ground floor), first aid kit, horse dryer
- Bathroom with bathtub and WC (upstairs), hairdryer
The house is equipped with a water softener.
The "bathroom linen" kit is provided and includes a glove and a towel as well as a bath towel per person.
• The kitchen :
With complete household appliances: fridge, microwave, dishwasher, oven, hob, extractor, toaster, kettle, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, repair kit (tea, coffee, etc.), linen kitchen (tea towels, tablecloths ...).
• Other comfort equipment: TV, free wifi, washing machine, dryer, upright freezer, garden furniture, gas barbecue, iron and ironing board.
• Complete baby equipment on request (no extra charge): crib with box spring and mattress, pillow and duvet, high chair, bathtub, reduction seat for the toilet and footstool.
• The "extras": piano, trampoline.
• Electricity, heating and water are included in the price.
• Deposit: 300 €
• “Departure cleaning” service: € 60.
• A complete documentation on the region, the sites and activities to discover as well as useful information for your stay, is on site.
• For reasons of hygiene and allergy, our animal friends are not accepted.

Vraiment exceptionnel !
La maison : très belle maison ancienne, remarquablement située en hauteur, dominant la vallée, avec un splendide jardin. Elle est parfaitement équipée : salon de jardin, literie de qualité, chauffage agréable et efficace, salles de bains pratiques et confortables, cuisine remarquablement équipée : appareils, casseroles et poêles, couverts et vaisselle etc. tout de qualité et en grande quantité - ce qui est rare dans une location de vacances.
La région : la ville de Sarlat est magnifique. De plus, on pourrait séjourner un mois en découvrant chaque jour quelque chose de nouveau (site, château, animation...), le tout dans un périmètre de 20 km. Incroyable !
L'hôtesse : irréprochable ! Très agréable et gentille, elle montre un réel souci du confort et de l'agrément de ses locataires.
Depuis plus de 30 ans que nous louons 2 à 3 fois par an, cette offre est dans notre top 3 des meilleures que nous ayons eues !

Ruhige Lage, viel Platz, sehr nette und hilfsbereite Vermieter. Eine sehr gut ausgestattete Küche, mehrere Terrassen und schöne Räume. Wir (4 Erwachsene, 2 kleine Kinder) haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

We just spent two weeks at this this rental home in Sarlat-la-Canéda. This character property was thoughtfully and professionally refinished without sacrificing the original look and feel of the original18th century home. Everything you need inside (and outside) is there with expansive, elevated, very private grounds and morning visits from the local deer population.
It is a short drive to MANY castles and the Dordogne River where we spent a few hours canoeing and enjoying breathtaking views of La Roque and Beynac and much more.
The owners truly exceeded expectations and totally made us feel comfortable with our perfect, quiet, rental in the Dordogne area of France. We will recommend this Gite to all our travelling friends
