Lovely views. The apartment was everything we needed & more. Warm, comfortable and clean.

There was nothing we didn't like.

It often happens that when you book accommodation, you find that while the pictures were accurate they were taken from an angle or in a way that meant the reality was not QUITE what you expected. In the case of 2 Linden Court, the reality was even better than the images. I'd wondered when I looked on Google Maps if the 'parking space' would involve parallel parking on the South Furzeham Road. It was a delight to find that each of the eight apartments has its own numbered parking space right in front of the building. It meant we could unpack the car right outside our front door. If you know Brixham you will KNOW how unusual this is. The instructions to collect the keys were perfectly clear and as soon as we got into the flat we saw that view!! I'm not sure if pictures can ever do it justice. It's incredible. Floor to ceiling glass across one wall allows an unrestricted view of Brixham harbour. Even over new year we were able to spend some time out on the balcony. This apartment rapidly felt like home. It's incredibly well-equipped. Two tiny artificial Christmas trees, one complete with electric lights, were even in place. We did not have to touch the heating. It was warm and cosy after it came on at the appointed times. A few other visitors had complained about the TV in the apartment's visitors' book, but we had no problems. We found that if the 'Freely' TV app did suffer a bit of interference on some channels from time to time, we just moved up the apps and used the 'live TV' option on either the BBC iplayer, ITVX, Channel 4 or Channel 5 apps These give access to a wealth of live TV channels and a load of archived films and shows. More than enough for the times we were in the apartment. We did a lot of walking and eating out during our week. Brixham offers so much for all tastes.

There are large built-in wardrobes and plenty of storage space in the bedroom, but the foot of the double bed is quite close to the wall. This really wasn't a problem to us, but I will just point it out. I'd rather have that then a smaller bed.
