It’s great if you like swearing at night with only one towel and no water on site.

The was no water and only one towel. I called and the manager told me to walk 3 minutes to the store in the pouring rain at 9:49 pm. When I asked for an additional towel; He suddenly couldn’t speak English and hung up on me. Pay extra and stay a a better place. No AC and very hot in the room.

terrible, impossible to sleep in the bed, would never return

could not sleep in the bed for bedbugs and had to keep socks on as floor was so dirty, holes in pillows and bedsheets, no quilt cover on the duvet. dirty, dusty. also in the dining area didn't have a kettle, all the cutlery was dirty and sticky. totally unsuitable.

The refrigerator should be cleaned more frequently and the room locks were difficult, but perhaps this is French thing- was my first night in France.

We were unable to check in despite the website claiming they have a 24 hour front desk.

We were left in the freezing cold unable to check in despite having already paid for the room! I demand a refund or compensation of some sort.

As mentioned in others comments, this is NOT a hotel or guest house with a front desk or anyone to speak to (other than by phone, which takes a while to get through) and five other rooms in this house may be rented out to other guests. The front door is a very heavy duty electric locking door and as another commenter also mentioned made us feel uneasy, like we were locking ourselves into a cell, with no one to greet us and possible strangers arriving/ already here. If this is something you’re comfortable with, the place may be perfect for you. For us we didn’t feel safe staying the night alone with strangers in a foreign country, so went down the road and paid for another hotel for the night.

The bed was comfy and it was extremely quiet.

Thought the word hotel meant there is an actual lobby, front desk, etc. Nope, this is a type of rental unit that has people living there, and they rent out rooms. I don't like spending time on my phone during vacation. I had to go to another hotel to borrow wifi so I could check email for how to get there and how to get in. NO ONE GREETED me or was there. Just a guy on the phone when I finally broke down and made the long distance call to ask about the location. Then, the front door is so secure, I had to call the guy back to find out how to get out of the front door. It freaked me out as a single traveler to have no directions on how to get out of the front door. I felt like I was in a horror movie. Make it clear with details that this is a PERSONLESS place, only a guy (helpful, yes) on a phone I had to call at my expense. This is not a hotel.

The house was amazing and others that were staying there were friendly too. When visiting again, this will be my first choice to stay. The staff was awesome and very helpful.

The only drawback is the fact there isn't any "central air" or cooling system. The weather wasn't extremely hot, but I wonder how cool the house is in warmer temps with no air.

the second day night they had some people in downstairs were gathered and was noisy until 11:45 nearly midnight, this shouldn’t be allowed in a hotel , it was like t somebody’s house so that I didn’t liked and also didn’t filled toilet paper it was nearly on end of roll since the first day and last day didn’t have any more

Amazing location and facilities, but avoid going by summer as there's no air conditioning unit.

I liked the whole villa. It had everything that someone may need. Big kitchen, big living room, big terrace outside. Room is not bad and clean. Nice and big TV with good internet connection. Easy to communication with management when needed. I would say take as much food as possible with you before you travel.

The big problem is that there's no air conditioning which meant that it is almost impossible to sleep at night unless you have some sort of air generator. Thankfully the guy who looks after the facilities has brought me a fan otherwise I couldn't have slept by night!
