About this apartment rental
Ocean Isle Beach is a superb, family-friendly vacation destination offering wide sandy beaches, fantastic restaurants and lots of recreational activities for all. It is a perfect place to enjoy an entire week at the beach or a quick weekend getaway. Our updated 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo is located just steps from the beach and an oceanfront, gated pool. It's beautifully decorated and has all of the amenities of home! Enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning on the private back deck with ocean view, and at dusk, you'll want to sit on the front patio for an amazing, uninterrupted view of the sunset over the marsh.
The master bedroom features a king bed, lots of natural light and access to a private patio. There are two additional guest rooms, beautifully decorated, one with a queen bed and the other with two twin beds.
Please remember that sheets and towels are not provided. Fully stocked kitchen. Washer and dryer in the unit. Non-smoking and no pets allowed.

We had a wonderful stay at Ocean Side West A-3. The location was perfect as the ocean was only a few steps from the condo and Jink’s Creek was visible from the both decks. This end of the beach was less congested and the water was amazing. Low tide exposes a lot of sandbars which were fun to explore, and you can even venture across to Sunset Beach. We enjoyed strolling along the beach in the evenings watching the sand crabs scatter about and we were surprised that what looked to be a small dog digging after the crabs was actually a fox. This became a nightly ritual and we were excited to see the foxes each night. We were glad to see at least four protected sea turtle nests during our walks. We brought our kayaks which we launched from the boat ramp located near the end of the bridge of the intracoastal waterway (near the OIB fish company and the Tiki Bar). We were able to explore much of Jink’s Creek, which was spectacular. The unit was quiet and offered all of the comforts of home. We loved that there were extra pillows in each room and many throw blankets which made lounging at the end of a busy day extra cozy. The beds were very comfortable and we had plenty of room for our family of five. The kitchen was well stocked, and we were able to make several special family meals together. We had a great vacation and look forward to visiting OIB again soon. Thanks for sharing your special place with us!

This was a bit of an atypical booking. I initially booked with the previous owners of this condo. It was sold and the new owners honored our deal. The unit was very clean. The pool was great. The location was great. There was miscommunication with the lockbox code. We never got it. This turned out to not be a big deal because the unit was open and the owners gave the code after a call.
There is a ground floor closet that is available to renters that is full of all kinds of beach things. This is not shown in the pics or mentioned but can save you from hauling bulky chairs, bikes,etc.
I would recommend this unit and OIB. One thing to note. There is only 1 below average restaurant anywhere near this condo. You’ll have to drive for anything but we knew that going in. It’s 5 minutes to the mainland most days and times.

Renting from the Dorsch’s was very easy and the condo was nicely decorated and clean. Nice, quiet area of the beach! Had a great time!
