I love the location! The fact that’s is on near midtown and Madsion Square Garden!! Was good for me !
My only concern was the WiFi really didn’t work for me which was Soo sad for me ‘

Decent budget offering in a sea of astoundingly overpriced offerings. No need to worry about a 'resort fee' here. Rooms are hit and miss, some spacious and quiet, other cramped and desolate feeling. Staff are responsive to any issues which arise and do their best to resolve them.
It is a no-frills option and people should be ready for creaky stairs, aging infrastructure, some rooms with no view from a window, and mainly unpredictable other lodgers. I was unlucky enough to have encountered a middle-of-the-night violent domestic argument which eventually police had to settle. It's not that only this kind of crowd is attracted to the place but they can be expected to be here as longer term tennants. The shared shower is also tiny and no frills, same with WC but that comes with the territory.

Well, you get what you pay for, you know. It was nice to have a giant refrigerator, and while the noise on the first floor was not great, it was convenient to not have to lug my suitcase up a bunch of stairs since I was on the first floor.
I didn’t have the option to choose if I wanted the first floor window facing the street or if I wanted a different location. If I’ve been given the option to be anywhere else, I would’ve probably chosen anywhere else in the building. I would appreciate it if I’m given the option of first floor facing the street with windows that certainly don’t block sound, or anywhere else in the building. I would’ve taken anywhere else in the building. So next time give someone the option to choose where they’re going to be, because I wasn’t given an option. Also, it was cold and nobody effectively did something about it.
