West 30th Street Guest House

Great location. We chose the room with the ensuite and were pleasantly surprised. It contained a large fridge, an oven, a fan and table and chairs. The hot water was good. It hada hair dryer. The owner loaned us an iron and was easily contactable vía WhatsApp. It was a short walk to Penn station and located close to many cafes. Located at the rear of the building, it was quiet at night.

Bed probably needs to be replaced. There was only one ceramic mug so an extra mug would be good.

The location is excellent

The internet did not work in my room. It would be nice to be able to open the window. No water boiler. The light in the kitchen area did not work.

Like a mini studio apartment with kitchen. Very quiet and good location Nice nice man named Jimmy brought me a comforter. He was happy to help the quests .

Confusing address. THE Building is btw 8th and 9th ave. The number of the building is the same as a building btw 6th and 7th ave. There were no toiletries provided by the host like soap, shampoo, conditioner and the towels were thin .

Well, you get what you pay for, you know. It was nice to have a giant refrigerator, and while the noise on the first floor was not great, it was convenient to not have to lug my suitcase up a bunch of stairs since I was on the first floor.

I didn’t have the option to choose if I wanted the first floor window facing the street or if I wanted a different location. If I’ve been given the option to be anywhere else, I would’ve probably chosen anywhere else in the building. I would appreciate it if I’m given the option of first floor facing the street with windows that certainly don’t block sound, or anywhere else in the building. I would’ve taken anywhere else in the building. So next time give someone the option to choose where they’re going to be, because I wasn’t given an option. Also, it was cold and nobody effectively did something about it.
