Bougainville Bay Resort - Villa 11

Our stay at Bougainville Resort was just okay. The view from the apartment was beautiful and definitely the best part of the property. Our host was polite, responsive, and communicated well throughout our stay, which we appreciated. The apartment itself had only basic amenities. The TV wasn’t functioning during our visit, and the bedding was quite basic. Overall, the accommodations could benefit from some simple upgrades to make the stay more comfortable. One thing that surprised us was that access to the pool required an additional fee, and beach loungers also had to be rented separately. Since these resort amenities weren’t included, it felt more like staying in a regular apartment than at a resort. Overall, it was an adequate stay with a lovely view and great communication from the host, but we felt there was room for improvement given the expectations of a resort property.

Het is een prachtig ruim appartement met uitzicht op de zonsondergang. Het ligt ook in een erg mooi resort. Er is ook een spa en massage (tegen betaling) op het resort.

De gastheer was kortaf en een beetje koud. Hij vroeg gelijk bij binnenkomst of we direct met cash wilde betalen. Dat hadden we niet verwacht en op dat moment niet bij ons. De volgende dag appte hij weer of we cash hadden en hij zei dat hij naar de villa toe kwam. Terwijl we nog steeds geen cash hadden. Uiteindelijk mochten we het overmaken via de bank omdat we niet zoveel wilde pinnen. Op de laatste dag kwam hij 5 minuten voordat we gingen uitchecken. Het leek wel een soort controle. Al met al een beetje opdringerig en licht dreigend. Villa was schoon behalve op de handgrepen van de keuken. En het gasstelsel en afzuiger deden het niet goed. Voor het zwembad moet je 7 eur extra per persoon betalen.

Hou er rekening mee dat je deze locatie onmogelijk kan boeken als je minder mobiel bent. Je hebt GEEN toegang tot de lift en moet tot vier verdiepingen overbruggen - zwembad en strand is bijbetalen.
