Relax in st andrews

The location was great. The apartment was clean and tidy and had everything you needed. Communication with George was excellent. Having a garden space to sit and enjoy the weather was a plus point. Free parking was a bonus. I would recommend this to friends and family.

Pleasant, easy, but some things need to be addressed

Good things are ease of entry (key box); parking safe and spacious; you get access to washing machine and a dryer. It's a pleasant neighbourhood - we don't mind walking... The instructions from the host are clear and very responsive and polite.

There are some things that need a little work I think - to justify the price for a place quite on the periphery of the town. These aren't big things, and would only need a little attention. - The smell of the bathroom needs to be sorted. It's mold? Or a drain? One can smell it as soon as entering the property, and thus the bathroom door needs to be shut at all times. To combat that (I believe), the towel rail is just on, flaming hot, permanently. Which doesn't seem to be the best practice... - Toilet seat isn't fixed securely. - Invest in different curtains (or something). It's really light in there when trying to sleep (maybe caused by a side light outside?). The bathroom smell is the main one for me - and, it seems, for others.

Well positioned property but looks and feels a bit tired.

The location was good, we liked the small courtyard outside of the door, sunny and private. Quiet area. The property was well designed, thought had gone into making sure that everything you needed was provided

Definite smell as you entered due to lack of ventilation in the bathroom, there was an extractor fan but really needed a window too. Bed and sofa really needs replacing. Lots of marks on cover of sofa and side of bed marked. Cups stained inside could be sorted by bleaching them between clients.

pleasant private central to St Andrews with a lovely patio

Great location. clean comfortable. good parking. lovely patio.

slight smell of mold which was not pleasant. needs better coffee facilities. please provide a French press so guests can make a proper cup of coffee. please provide non- slip mats under the scatter rugs— very hazardous. these notes are for the host only. we really enjoyed this place- and will stay again. this is how to go from very nice to excellent.

Comfortable & Clean with everything you need for a short stay.

It had everything I needed for the short stay including hairdryer, mini ironing board, plates, mugs, fridge, hot plate etc. Made things very easy - thank you! Easy to access the property, and owner very communicative, which was helpful. Parking good.

Location was a bit further from the city centre than I anticipated, but it was fine as I had a car. I also couldn't turn off the towel rail which was a bit hot to sleep close to.

Good clear communication from host - by email. Quiet and comfortable apartment. Spacious well laid out bathroom, shower cabinet was huge! (I'm 6'3" and broad, had acres of room.) Lovely area, with a nice 15-20 minute stroll into centre.

For the size of the shower, the unit within was disappointing, it was adequate. Listed as having washing machine and drier, which it does, but only found after a wee search (felt like a burglar) as it is at opposite end of garage conversion. Used it as I had a mark on a shirt and machine was fine. (I did have owners number so I am sure I could have just called.)

A good weekend break.

Location was good in a quiet street a few minutes drive to the beach and golf course.

The sofa was a bit low and difficult to get up from if you have mobility issues and the bed was too hard for my liking.

Small but perfectly formed SC in St. Andrews.

Patio area to sit out in. Comfortable bed. The owners were there so would not like to refer to them as staff! Nice to have toiletries provided in shower room.Brilliant to have on site parking. A fuse causing no power was fixed immediately.

Would have liked a slightly larger frying pan. Our stay was for 4 days and the cost for 4 days was what we would normally pay for a week in a self catering but it was our choice to book this property.

Peaceful and comfortable.

It is an ideal spot for staying in St Andrews. They have done a great job converting the garage into an apartment. It had everything we needed for 2 nights. We arrived earlier than we should have but we spoke to George and asked if we could leave the car and go for a walk until it was time to check in. That was no problem at all. We were lucky to get nice weather and so the small seated area outside the door was lovely to sit in. It was so quiet and lovely.

The bed was a wee bit shaky, could maybe do with tightening up the frame. I really liked the walk into the town but some may find it a bit far .

I loved this apartment as it had everything you need for a short break and had a small, quiet out door space. There was no contact with the owner but instructions for check in and check out were very clear. It was a good half an hour walk into the town but a straight road.
