The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, and everything needed was available.

A little close to the station if you're a light sleeper, the back bedroom might be an issue, it didn't keep me awake, so it wasn't a problem.

Such a lovely place to stay. Clean, lovely furnishings. Nice touches of tea, coffee milk etc. Everything we needed. Parked right outside on street parking. They had provided 2 parking permits for our stay. Would highly recommend

It was an excellent property and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay

T Little Connaught House is a two bedroom property with Full kitchen and bathroom facilities and a living room. The bedrooms were very large with comfortable beds. One of the bedrooms has a sitting room off the bedroom and the other has a large couch. Both rooms have desks and wardrobes with bedside drawer units. There were fans in both rooms which were very welcome due to the heat. The parking is on street and requires a daily parking permit which are required by the hosts. We did not have any trouble parking close to the property. The property is central with easy access to restaurants, shopping, transport and the motorway. It was very clean and tidy on arrival and was well stocked with cutlery, crockery, pots and pans and cleaning supplies. The hosts provided a very handy user guide covering all of the appliances, parking, WiFi etc. The hosts, Ailsa and Jacob were very helpful and pleasant in our dealings and nothing was too much bother.

This is very personal to me and would not apply to everyone. The stairs in the property are quite steep and the bath is higher than normal. I have mobility issues and found it difficult to get in and out of the bath for a shower. Fortunately my daughter was with me and was able to assist. I also found the stairs difficult to manage. This would be the only thing that would give me pause for staying there again.

I loved the Garden at the back of the property. The bbq is great during sunny days for a good lunch or dinner outdoors. The place is very organised, clean, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, cooking facilities amazing. Also I was provided with clean Towels and extra one were handy. Good amenities around about 5-7 mins walking distance you have an Asda & Lidl also you have cafes and takeaway places to suit your needs. A Wetherspoons if you fancy a drink. I felt safe, walking around was quiet and safe. No noisy neighbours. One more thing is literally about 5-6 mins walking distance from Fratton Railway Station and you have a bus service 5 mins away from the property to get into town or to move around.

I couldn’t find a fault it was lovely.

delightful little house, with everything you could need for a comfortable stay, near to HMSVictory

the location was just what I needed for a visit to HMSVictory, with my partner and brother from Australia, we loved the house, it had everything that was required, milk and water in the fridge, all cleaning supplies, bags, well explained instructions in a book, the bed was very comfy, the small garden was delightful. we parked outside the house with ease, and used the parking permit, all with good instructions.

only a couple of things come to mind and not reflective on the house or owners, more to do with us being older and less able, I did not ask for an accessable bathroom or house, the stairs to the bedroom are very steep, and we struggled, I infact came down on my bum, but this is not the problem of the owners...just a heads up to anyone who may need to know! the bathroom is lovely, but also, no grab rails and difficult to get into and out of, if your disabled, without some assistance. apart from this, all was perfect for us.

Very good value house.

Cute, character house, convenient location a few minutes walk to several interesting restaurants. Somewhat bigger than expected,it is fine for two couples. Well equipped bright kitchen with nice garden area.

Too far to walk to dock area but very close to train. We had trouble turning on the heat,better instructions would be appreciated.

The property is well stocked , nice touch with milk in the fridge and a coffee machine with pods which I have now Ben out and bought for home. I was worried at first about how close the railway was but after the first couple of very quiet trains we never even noticed it so NOT a bad point.

Fabulous house, fantastic location

Such an easy check in with the key box. The location is fantastic with street parking and the train station behind the property, making it easy to get to Portsmouth harbour, city centre or London in a hour if needed! Comfortable beds, clean house and fabulous kitchen making it possible to cook your own food if you didn’t want to eat out. Will be staying again!

Exceptional

The property was spotless and had everything we needed. There were some nice extra touches such as providing milk in the fridge, tea bags and even packs of biscuits in the cookie jar. Whilst we hadn't planned to use the train the property was so close to the station that we caught the train to Portsmouth harbour for the sites rather than driving which meant no need to worry about parking.

Everything was good but if I had to be picky I would say the curtains were too light in the back bedroom as the sun came straight through so take eye masks with you if the light wakes you.
