About this house rental
This typical red wooden house with its white window frames awaits you in Saltsjöbaden (the “Salt Lake Resort”) - where land meets the sea, a seaside resort near the center of Stockholm. Located on a large natural site on the Älgö peninsula, it offers you and your family a cozy and quiet home during your vacation - the opportunity to slow down in a world of Inga Lindström and Astrid Lindgren.
You are here at the gateway to the Stockholm archipelago, this magnificent natural landscape, which stretches over 80 kilometers from the city center to the Baltic Sea with around 24,000 islands and where you can enjoy the outdoors. Children's beach and various bathing areas as well as football and tennis courts can be reached on foot on this family-friendly island, you can let the fresh wind blow your nose or you can kayak or stand up paddle or with a big boat on the Embark lake. The Grand Hotel, a ski slope, the Royal Swedish Sailing Company (KSSS) and Saltsjöbadens Golf Club are 20 minutes away.
A successful holiday in Sweden also includes a visit to Stockholm city center, which can be reached by car within 30 minutes or by public transport (around 60 minutes). Stockholm offers unique attractions in summer and winter and will enchant you with its 14 islands, playful architecture, waterfront promenades, museums and cafés,

Einfach ein Haus zum Wohlfühlen mit sehr netten Besitzern. Haus und Umgebung sind sehr entspannend. Man wohnt direkt in den Schären vor Stockholm und auch der Weg nach Stockholm ist in 40 Minuten (mit Zug) erledigt. Man kann die Ostsee zwar nicht direkt von der Terrasse aus sehen (dafür schönen Wald) aber wenn man etwas läuft oder einfach mal die wenig befahrene Straße vor dem Haus überquert, kann man schon die Ostsee sehen. Ganz in der Nähe ist ein kleiner öffentlicher Badestrand. Zum Einkaufen ist es etwas weiter (ca. 8 km) aber das war mit dem PKW auch kein Problem. Das Haus an sich hat alles was wir für einen entspannten Aufenthalt brauchen: einen Garten, eine große Terrasse, viel Platz im Haus und alles voll und liebevoll ausgestattet. Es war eine tolle Zeit und wir kommen gerne wieder. Viele Grüße!

Ein gemütliches Haus mit geschmackvoller Einrichtung. Stockholm ist gut erreichbar. Sehr nette Vermieter, die sehr viele Informationen zur Verfügung gestellt haben.
Wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Lovely house and beautiful surroundings set in the woods of Algo. Ideal if you are looking for a relaxing holiday away from it all. Transport links into Stockholm are great and we were able to spend two days visiting the tourist attractions there. Saltsjobaden which is very close to Algo is lovely too, great harbour to walk around, a small beach and a few nice Restaurants. Communication with the owner was fantastic and she was able to answer all our questions, plus left us a welcome note and a few provisions as we arrived late at night which was a lovely touch. Would highly recommend.
