Beautiful 1 bedroom apartment, "Slapen aan het Fnidsen", is located in a completely renovated and modernized 17th century house in the old city of Alkmaar. The apartment is exclusively for our tenants. This romantic apartment is situated in one of the finest streets of the old city of Alkmaar with a fantastic view. The distance from the apartment to the famous Dutch Cheesemuseum and Cheese market is only a 1 minute walk
Your holiday apartment is located in a small 17th-century building at the corner of the Sint Jacobstraat and Fnidsen and has a private entrance to the Fnidsen.
In 2011 the entire building was completely renovated and modernized while retaining character.
The first floor has a comfortable bedroom and fitted bathroom designed in Moroccan stucco style.
On the second floor you will find a bright and attractive living space with modern, fully equipped kitchen.
The large sliding window facing south will make you feel like being outside!

This is my fourth stay here and can't wait to do it again. Sylvia is an excellent host! The apartment is clean and cozy! It is also perfectly located near grocery stores, restaurants, and shops. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great place to stay and a wonderful time in Alkmaar.

Sylvia was a fantastic host. The property is in a perfect location with access to all the shops, restaurants, museums etc. The apartment is really well equipped and is highly recommended.

This was my third time staying here and it did not disappoint. The apartment is clean, comfortable and perfectly located in Alkmaar. Sylvia is an amazing host. I can't wait to stay a fourth time!
