The unit is well located in the Old Center of Alkmaar, about 20 minutes from the railway station (on foot or by bus). The living room is nicely and creatively decorated. The kitchen is basic and does not include an oven or microwave. The bathroom is very small and was not properly cleaned upon arrival, with hair left in the shower drain, and only a few thin towels provided. The sleeping area is set in an alcove, suitable for a short stay of one or two nights.

De ligging is uitstekend. Het centrum (winkels, musea, bezienswaardigheden) is op loopafstand. Het station is ook redelijk dichtbij.

De locatie is geweldig, rustig en in het centrum van Alkmaar.
De hygiëne van het appartement was slecht. Vieze vloer, veel stof, vooral in de slaapkamer. Geen handdoeken aanwezig.
