Les Oursillons

Lovely Provençal house and garden, delightful. Highly recommend the property.

My wife and I had a wonderful time in the 4 days we stayed with Marie and Jean Paul at their beautiful country home, Les Oursillons, just outside of Roussillon, a pretty and quaint Hill Town Village. We loved staying at Les Oursillons for lots of reasons which we really didn't fully know until we arrived. Our sleeping and bathing quarters were perfect for us with a quality king bed and large walk-in shower. We were treated so well, starting with a wonderful breakfast with fresh bread and pastries which Jean Paul rode his bike into town to pick up fresh each morning. We wanted peace and quite and got that here. We enjoyed the outdoors with its private multi-setting areas and the evenings with lights lit at night made us feel at home. There is a very nice pool, separate outdoor enclosed kitchen if we wanted to cook a meal, and a living room. They also have a Boules court, and they taught us how to play. We were not very good at it, but we had a great fun learning from Jean Paul and Marie. We also enjoyed visiting the Hill Villages nearby, which all had their own personality and Market Day as well as great restaurants in each villiage. Thank you, Maria and Jean Paul. It was our most memorable stay in our 27 days in France and you both created that. Frank and Linda

Honestly, I cant think of anything we didn't like.

We couldn’t have asked for better hosts! So helpful and kind. They both went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. The room was very clean as was the entire place. So nice to have a pool and separate kitchen. They gave us so many good travel hints of places to visit. One of the best places we have stayed in. Including Canada!

Our host and hostess were just the best...translating French and English to keep our conversation flowing. They provided excellent travel tips. The garden was absolutely beautiful..quiet, relaxing. We were there when the jasmine and roses were blooming. Breakfast was wonderful with fresh from the boulangerie breads and pastries, home made jams, fruit and more - anything you could want. We hope to return in the future!! Felt like home, only better!

Not a thing...

We stayed for a couple of nights at Les Oursillons. We had an amazing time here. Marie-Paul and Jean Paul are super nice, it’s like staying at family. The house is extremely clean, every detail is taken into account. The garden, kitchen and swimmingpool are very beautiful, relaxing here is a must. Also at breakfast there is everything you need: croissants, bread, ham, cheese, jam, fresh juice, fruits,... We received a card for free parking in the center which is very handy. I would definitely recommend this place to stay in Roussillion!

Nothing! This B&B has everything you need

L'accueil très chaleureux de Marie-Paul et Jean Paul ils nous a mis très à l'aise. Très sympathique et ils étaient toujours disponible de nous aider. Les apéros dans ce jardin charmant avec les proprietaires étaient très sympathique, comme si on était chez nous. Tout était super. Le calme du jardin, la nature et le confort.

Je mets 10 mais ça vaut beaucoup plus. L'endroit est magnifique et la maison fabuleuse. La chambre est très belle et confortable avec sa salle de bain et WC séparé. La literie est top. Les petits déjeuners sont absolument succulents et très variés avec ses produits frais et de qualités. Et les hôtes Marie-Paule et Jean-Paul sont des personnes incroyables, très sympathiques et d'une convivialité magnifique. C'est un endroit à découvrir absolument.

Man spürt mit wieviel Liebe die Gastgeber ihre Gäste bewirten, und jeden Tag mit einem traumhaften Frühstück verwöhnen. Wir sind schon sehr viel in unserem Leben gereist, doch so herzlich wurden wir noch nie empfangen -:) Die Lage ist perfekt, da sich sehr viele Sehenswürdigkeiten in kürzester Zeit mit dem Auto erreichen lassen.... und doch hat man eine herrliche Stille in der Nacht, man kann bei offenem Fenster schlafen und es ist herrlich ruhig, alle Fenster sind mit Fliegengitter aufgerüstet und bei Bedarf kann man die sehr gut positionierte Klimaanlage einschalten. Ein sehr geräumiges Badezimmer mit allem Komfort sorgt für nötiges Wohlbefinden. Auch die wunderschöne Gartenanlage wurde von uns gerne genützt, es gibt sogar ein Gartenhaus mit Kochmöglichkeit, Kühlschrank usw.... das direkt neben dem sehr schön angelegten Pool steht und jederzeit (24h) von uns benützt werden durfte. Nach einem Tagesausflug wurde man diskret befragt ob man gerne ein Glas gemeinsam unter der Gartenlaube trinken möchte, und die Gastgeberin hat dazu äußerst leckere Häppchen gerichtet. Wer wollte setzte sich dazu und so hatte man auch die Möglichkeit sich mit anderen Gästen auszutauschen. Extra betonen möchte ich noch die Sauberkeit die sich durch das ganze Anwesen und im Haus widerspiegelt, diese Pension wird mit Liebe von den beiden Besitzern geführt und wir möchten uns nochmals herzlich bedanken, dass sie uns einen so schönen Aufenthalt ermöglicht haben. Wir würden diese Unterkunft mit ruhigem Gewissen auch Freunden empfehlen und gerne jederzeit selbst wiederkommen!
