While this isn't a luxury lodge with a swimming pool or extravagant amenities—which you wouldn't expect at this price point anyway—my stay was simply wonderful. The overall setting was exactly what I needed. I really appreciated the seclusion, getting away from the city and relaxing on the hillside at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. The hospitality was outstanding. Freddy, the boss, was super nice, and I received a very generous upgrade to the Kings Suite. The breakfast was excellent, and Marry made fantastic coffee. When I had a cold, she even prepared a special turmeric ginger tea for me. I truly felt right at home. I am giving it 9 out of 10 points. It's not about being a flawless luxury resort, but rather that everything was absolutely perfect for this specific setting and value. I will definitely be coming back!
