Close to town, convenient to get to attractions in area

Check in was clunky as I expected all the check-in information to be in the app. Apparently, I received an email from property management company. A quick call to VRBO and a couple texts to the company got us in.
However, it was dark and whereas a light was over the B unit, our A unit was dark and we drug our bags up 2 small flights of stairs. The first set of stairs had no railing. More about that later.
There were a lot more stairs inside the property. Eight from the landing, and six more up to the living area.
Let's get back to the outside stairs. Not a problem with out without a railing, but once it began to snow the stairs became treacherous and dangerous. No shovel was offered, and soon the outdoor stairs were covered with not only snow, but ice. I've stayed in other snowy areas and a shovel was provided.
The unit was probably the least equipped we've stayed at. While I don't expect a full fridge, etc., but it would have been nice to at least have one day's worth of coffee. None provided. Only salt and pepper were provided. Once again this is unusual for this type of rental. Missing were foil, Saran wrap or plastic bags.
TV hookup was clumsy and time-consuming.
This rental is good for sleeping, but if you plan on living in the unit then look elsewhere.
