Charming turn of the century Victorian house. Located in the downtown-west area of Colorado Springs, just 1.5 blocks from I-25 and ~1/4 mile from the popular Pinery venue, this 4-bed, 2-bath Victorian-style house has been lovingly renovated with modern conveniences including central A/C, but keeping some of the historic charm, such as original doors, door hardware, and fir hardwood floors throughout...**NOTE: 120 year-old floors and doors can creak!!!!**.

Please note, no parties are permitted and this is a non-smoking house (both inside and outside). Please read and agree to follow all house rules when booking.

⚠️ P L E A S E review important information BEFORE requesting to book.
► The house is advertised on multiple online listing/booking platforms, each of which outlines different policies, terms, and conditions. For consistency, the policies, terms, and conditions listed in the Rental Agreement shall prevail and supersede any other policies, terms, and conditions described on the listing/booking platform that you initially inquired and/or booked this property.
► The house is family-friendly but not child-proof. Children must be watched by a capable adult at all times.
► The house does not have a daily cleaning service like at hotels. You'll be provided with towels and linens. There is a washer/dryer available.
❕Only a STARTER set of select products (trash bags, soap, paper towels, and toilet paper) is supplied. You may need to purchase additional quantities for your stay, depending upon the length of your stay.
► The house is in a urban wildland interface area that is considered in the "city" but we can have deer, bears, mice, and other wildlife on the property. As such, it is possible to get 4-6-8 (or more) legged, winged, or crawling visitors both outside and inside. This cannot be 100% prevented even with regular monthly pest control.
► Never leave food items in the vehicles, and never leave food, food leftovers, or trash outside. Lock the house doors/windows AND your vehicle doors/windows when leaving even for a short time. Any garbage should be bagged and placed in the containers provided.
► No refunds will be given for weather/power/internet outages, change of plans, or life events. Consider appropriate TRAVEL INSURANCE. (Refunds will be processed accordingly if the reservation is canceled within the cancellation policy window)
► Wi-Fi: Complimentary Wi-Fi is available for your convenience. Log-in information can be found inside the house and via email and platform check-in message.
► Rates may differ on different platforms and are updated dynamically. Any sales, discounts, and specials are not retroactive and apply to new reservations only.
► NO SMOKING (tobacco or ANY other substance), NO VAPING.
► NO PETS/ANIMALS. No exceptions.
► QUIET HOURS are between 8:00 PM and 7:00 AM; please be respectful of our neighbors.
► NO OCCUPANCY ABOVE STATED LIMIT (8 total, with NO MORE than 6 adults).
► Third-party amenities, such as electricity, water, TV programming, and internet are beyond Owners' control. In the event of a service interruption beyond our control, Guests agree that they are not entitled to, nor will seek compensation of any kind, including partial or complete refunds for any such interruption.
► MUST be 21 or older to book, and sign the Rental Agreement (which will be sent after the booking is accepted) within 48 hours of booking.
► Guests are required to inspect the house within 1 hour of check-in to ensure everything is in order. If there are any questions, concerns, or issues, guests must contact the owners immediately. Failure to report issues upon arrival may result in the guests being held responsible. All guest concerns and/or complaints should be submitted in writing, either by text/platform message or email, before departure, giving the owners adequate time to document and address the issue.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It is a very comfortable, no frills stay. Keep in mind that as several have noted, this is NOTmodern house, but has a lot of quaint charm to it for its age.I really enjoyed so.e of the architecture of the home and was weirdly intrigued by the collected of antique door handles everywhere (yes, i am goofy that way).Temperature controls were easy to follow and the well document house details were a good touch.Again, no extra frills here. Single tv in the family room, but it made it much easier to keep the family together rather than each of us wandering off to our rooms to watch tv there!

This was a great property! We had plenty of room to spread out, fast wi-fi, hot water, plenty of towels, off-street parking, walkable area, relaxing front porch. We had lots of fun here - thanks!

I really wanted to give this place a great review but I can’t if I’m to be fully transparent. There is basically zero yard, just a tiny front yard that’s very exposed to Bijou street and the back drive area is open with zero privacy and not appealing at all. The house is absolutely adorable and we did enjoy that very much. Beautifully decorated and mostly clean. Every accessory and kitchen utensil you need is there. There was unfortunately a lot of mouse droppings in the bottom stove drawer, which we didn’t see until after we had already cooked our meal. We did alert the owner in which the response is that “its an old house” Well…I also live in an old house and do NOT have mice. Sadly it is in a higher homeless population area but that’s no fault of the owner, that’s just the unfortunate de-evolution of Colorado. I would say, if you aren’t going to be there much at all, it’s perfect. Maybe also really good during the winter and Christmas time. As long as the mouse problem is taken care of. I would Not want to stay there in the summer since there isn’t anywhere to enjoy the outside.
