Good space for family. Handy for free shuttle bus. Pleasant view. Friendly welcome. Easy access. Spare keys. Large fridge.
A few things didn't work (sink, TV remote, one ring on cooker) but probably fixed now as we mentioned them on leaving. The front door opened by itself even when locked. We jammed it closed with a chair

Lots of stairs. We didn’t use the fans the first night, so it was really hot!

First, we requested a lower floor because there was NO elevator and the elevation at the hotel was approximately 10,000 ft above sea level, but that was NOT an option. As such, we had to climb up 4 stories with our luggage just to get into the unit. Then every time we went out, when we returned we had to climb up the same 4 stories again. Second, the unit had 3 floors, so we had to climb three flights of stairs to get to the upper master bedroom. More stair climbing! Third, there is NO bathroom on the first floor, so one had to climb up a flight of stairs to get to the bathroom on the second floor. Fourth, the upper bedroom was VERY hot during the summer days we were there. The good news is there were box fans that we used at night to cool off that area but there was only one small window that could open in the bedroom. The entire condo was VERY dated and needed upgrading, especially the bathrooms, beds, carpet, window coverings in the master bedroom, sliding screen door to the patio, etc., basically the entire condo. It was obvious that it had been a rental unit for a very long time. Finally, the hot tub was outside the building on the second floor near the Ski Patrol office and, again, we had to climb stairs to get back up to our unit after using the hot tub. Please consider that if (a) you are NOT used to the elevation, then (b) either get a unit on the first floor OR find a place that has an elevator for units on higher floors. Because we were there only six days, we spent much of our time just getting acclimated to the elevation and had to plan when we would go out so as to minimize the times we needed to go up and down the stairs.
