Gîte Layon 6 places Moulin de la Placette

Accueil chaleureux, propriétaire aux petits soins ( arrangeant pour le départ ...) tout en étant discret; la piscine est formidable avec une bonne amplitude horaire. Le logement avec le parking , ses 2 salles de bains et sa terrasse est bien agencé pour 6 personnes. L'emplacement est vraiment au calme et se situe prés de nombreux sites touristiques et des commerces; Je recommande vivement pour un séjour en famille; Très bon rapport qualité-prix

La disponibilité de l'hôte, la piscine, la grandeur de l'habitation, le calme, plusieurs salles de bains, WC aussi, l'environnement, la salle à manger est assez grande pour le nombre de couchages, les fournitures de draps et serviettes aussi sont très appréciables, le ménage n'est pas à faire en partant.

Les toiles d'araignées un peu partout (salle de bains, sous les lits, sous les chaises, dans la cuisine dans les moindres recoins), les tapis antidérapants de fond de baignoire très sales voir ragoutants, pas de climatiseur central ou même mobile, malgré les ventilateurs nous avons eu très chaud. Lorsque nous sommes arrivés, en ce qui concerne la piscine, pas le droit au short de bain (nous avions amenés que cela) mais caleçon accepté ! pas de ballon ! pas de crème solaire acceptée dans la piscine (rien n'était noté dans le descriptif BOOKING)... pas de nourriture ni boisson acceptées également.... Nous avons donc respectés les consignes demandés malgré que d'autres baigneurs avaient eux des shorts de de bain !?

Qualité et prix raisonnable. Les lieux sont propres et un hôte à votre écoute. Un endroit à la campagne et calme

Location. Very peaceful. Swimming pool was very popular with the children.

Didn’t think it was particularly clean when we arrived. We were booked to stay there for 10 days and the sheets and towels weren’t changed or offered to be changed at all. There was 1 toilet roll and no bin bags. Had to supply those ourselves. No washing machine. Well there is but it’s in the owner’s house and you are allowed to use it once. We decided to go to a launderette instead. There was a hornet’s nest outside the bathroom window which the owner was informed of and did nothing to remedy. This meant we had to keep the windows closed when it was 38°c and then we had to go and buy fans because they wouldn’t supply any. Fans did appear a few days later after we had bought our own, so I imagine other guests also complained. There are bicycles for use by guests but nothing suitable for children and they are not maintained very well. Most had flat tyres, which isn’t so much of a problem as there is a pump. The one I chose to ride though had no working rear brakes which resulted in a trip over the handlebars. Entirely my own fault for not checking first. No helmets provided, so the head injury lottery is entirely up to you. I used to come here 40 years ago when I was a child and had many fond memories which have been tarnished somewhat. The fact all the furniture and fittings are still those I remember from when I was a child shows how little the current owners seem care which is a real shame because the location is lovely. The owners leave the cleaning up to the guests, which is either lazy or ridiculous but either way not what you’d expect when paying to stay somewhere. How can you maintain any standards when you’re not keeping the standards yourself and relying on the paying guests to do the work for you? There is not one mention in the advert on Booking.com that guests are required to clean the property themselves when vacating. I would not have booked had I known this.
