Very nice, traditional place. We had a large, simple room with a comfortable bed. Friendly staff and customers. There was a lovely beer garden offering a great German food menu and excellent German beer!
This is a minor thing but I needed an iron and the hotel was unable to help.

The Breakfast and restaurant as a whole was excellent. As were the staff. I know the area well, having lived there for 7 years in the 80s and 90s, therefore the location was wonderful.
The room was on the 3rd floor, without a lift. That did cause me problems due to some health issues. However, I survived to write this. :-)

The staff told us that there was no booking on my name. This led to more than 1 hour panicking where we will be spending the night. Finally, the issue was resolved, but the staff was very negative.
