The host was very helpful and organized a parking permit for us. The location was perfect. Right where you needed to be but still fairly quiet. Icy cold air conditioning.
One issue which was minor is that the apartment is under a restaurant so around 3pm and again at 1am you can hear tables being moved but not to the point it's unbearable. Other than this you can't hear the restaurant. The other issue which isn't the apartments fault is parking in general in Makarska. If you're lucky to get a spot right next to the apartment perfect otherwise you could be driving around for a while looking and then walking.

The accommodation is centrally located in the old town.
Both beaches are approximately 700 meters from the apartment.
All shops and services are within reach - the market is also very close.
All in all, I can recommend it to anyone looking for a place on the ground floor.
There was no such.
