The manager was extremely helpful and couldn't do enough for me during my stay. Her son carried my heavy case to my room on the top floor and back down again when needed, she also changed me to a lower level after realising I had issues with the stairs.
The entire staff were lovely and courteous to me at all times.
People who give bad reviews are doing so because they want champagne accommodation for coca cola prices.
You get what you pay for, comes to mind. The rooms are clean but not modern, which is on the actual owners not the staff that run it, they do their best for anyone who stays, and don't deserve the bad reviews about the actual accommodation, it's not on them....
It was hard walking up so many stairs, however they didn't know my age when I booked, once noticed they amended the situation.
I cannot fault them.
I would stay there again. I know if I called first and mentioned having mobility issues I would receive a more accessible room from the onset.

Where it was situated
The beds very uncomfortable, mattresses could do with renewing big time. Possible new bed frames too.
