There is ample space to sit down as a group in different sections of the house. This was an advantage as we had booked for a weekend. The open kitchen also meant a lot of us could be in the kitchen at the same time, helping and cooking. The beds were also amazing, we didn’t struggle to sleep at all.

The electricity sometimes tripped which we attributed to the weather. The stairs were a bit of a chore, but by the time we left we had gotten used to them.

The view from the main house is amazing and there was ample space to accommodate the number of guests.

A number of appliances and some plugs were not working. A plumber need to be called to unblock drains affecting the kitchen area and ablutions in the main house. The shower drains in the separate rooms were also blocked. The number of and steepness of stairs was not ideal for elderly. Some of the stairs needed handrails for safety. There was not sufficient cutlery and crockery supplied for the number of guests accommodated. General lack of maintenance which would be expected for the price paid.
