Property was fair. The final cost was not transparent!

We (2 couples with 4 kids under 3 years old) spent 2 weeks in this property. The house was clean. Kitchen had good utensils. The garden was sweet and we even used the grill and Pizza oven once. The owner was friendly and always helpful. The check-in was done very old school on a piece of A4 sheet. We had to write down all our details. The owner wanted a copy of the booking.com confirmation. The property location is about 7-10mins from the beach by car.

Size of some of rooms and one of the toilets were unproposonal. I personally found every room over packed with furniture. The road Infront of the property is heavily busy with cars driving at about 60-70 km/h. It's difficult driving into the property gates if you have a large car. More over the constant traffic on the road makes it more difficult. You definitely need a car if you are staying at this property as there are no places to have a walk. There are no pedestrian pavements and the beach a an half hour walk. The property has a coffee machine that works with tabs but i advise getting your Cafe at the bar del Re which is just a 2 mins walk from the property. The guy at the bar there services exclusive esspreso Italian style. The total amount in the booking.com confirmation mail was 1062€. In the booking.com mail confirmation, it was specified that the full amount must be paid prior to on arrival. Novsol was the company responsible for issuing the payment services with this property. Novasol sent a payment link, for 779€ only. I tried to contact Novosol via mail and Telefon for further clearance on why they sent wrong amount. Without avail. Novosol remained very incompetent and unprofessional. There was no transparency on what the total cost of the property was. The owner of the property handed us the detailed cost on the last checkout day. To our surprise we read 461€ (106€ for electricity, 81€ for Gas, local tax 153€,etc). The owner charged us 80€ for towels and bedsheets (10€/person). Basically he charged 10€ for our babies that were 5 & 8 months old. Despite the fact they didn't sleep in their own bed. I think booking.com should work on transparency when doing business with small scale businesses and especially other booking agencies such as Novasol. The final costs exceeded the expected costs

We liked the house and the support was nice from the hosts.

I would like to say this is not a booking.com experience. It is Novasol hotel group effort and I should have ditched the booking after getting hassled to pay very quickly. Also the location was no use if you have no car. Map shows bus stops alas no routine regular buses. Having to walk was challenging as the roads were not suited to padestrians that said the host provided some old bikes we could use which was good though they were rustic.The idea of the paying for used gas and electricity at the end of your stay was the final punch in the face as really how can you authenticate this as you are in a foreign country , needing to leave(euro 350) for a 14 day booking only actually staying in the house 8 days ,whilst staying in other locations. Paying for towels and bedding REALLY are you going to pack sleeping bags to stay in a house? Paying 80 euros upfront for cleaning,as other hosts will verify we leave as we find the place as basic manners dictates .Ive been travelling for years with a family of 5 used this site every time for simplicity, cleanliness and safety the main concerns of a parent. In short any booking that involves Novasol is a RED line. Keep it real with dealing with hosts that follow the simple proccedure that your used to. This is the first time Ive felt bad about using a property and frankly has soured what should have been a simple stay. Lets be fair it is only Italy not some far off the grid strange land.

Nice place to stay few days.

The owner is a very kind person, warming welcome. The house is clean, big rooms and very comfortable kitchen and dining room. 2 bathroom is a very important plus for this location. Big garden, with bicycles available.

In the rear court, some roosters and hens, so the cockcrow early in the morning: nice for families with children, not ideal for young adults. At arrival, I forgot to ask the not included expenses check (electricity, gas) and I discovered before leaving the total final amount. No possibility to check the starting counters of course, so I had to pay additionally 194 euros, for in the reality only 5 days, quite expensive.
