Unwind under the shade of a large oak tree, surrounded by nature and complete privacy. This spacious 100 sqm home with three terraces is perfect for relaxing outdoor living, just minutes from several beaches. A peaceful retreat for those who want to slow down and truly switch off
Joleni Cottage is a green hideaway situated on the outskirts of Keramies Village (in the Leivathos region in the South of Kefalonia). During its renovation, the one-level house was converted to allow wheelchair access. It is convenient for guests with limited mobility but also for those who enjoy the comfort of a ground-level holiday cottage.
The house is located 200m from the street along an unpaved side road and offers privacy and a sense of space surrounded by nature. If you are looking for a retreat in a green environment, this is the place for you.
Joleni Cottage is conveniently located for exploring the island. Several beautiful beaches are only a short drive of 10-15 minutes away. Argostoli and the airport are within a 15-minute drive. A basic minimarket and a traditional taverna are within a 10-minute walk in the village. A restaurant, two cafes/bars, and two more minimarkets are in the neighbouring village of Spartia, just a 2-minute drive away.
An open-plan, fully equipped kitchen with a dining -and sitting area offers plenty of space. From here patio doors open to the covered terrace with table and chairs.
• Main bedroom: double bed with a width of 1,60m. Access to the sun terrace.
• Second bedroom: 2 single beds with the option of an additional folding bed.
• Bathroom: plenty of daylight, floor-level shower. A washing machine is provided.
• Additional WC.
• Terraces: The roofed terrace can be accessed from the living room, the uncovered sun terrace is accessible directly from the main bedroom. The third terrace under the oak tree offers shade all through the day.
• Sleeping Arrangements: The cottage sleeps 4-5 persons, with options for an additional folding bed in the twin bedroom or alternatively on the sleeping sofa of the sitting area.
• Air conditioning in all rooms
• Mosquito screens on all windows and doors
• WIFI free of charge
• TV with free satellite channels. Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime etc. with your own log-in
• Wheelchair accessible parking for step-free access into the house

For guests with limited mobility:
The ground-floor level cottage is step-free throughout the house. The bathroom has a roll-in shower and a wash basin with wheelchair clearance since the cupboards underneath are provided with rolls to be placed somewhere else in the bathroom. This gives the washbasin an accessible height of 68cm. A shower stool is available. The widths of all doors are between 81cm and 1m. The hall and hallway are 2,20m and 1,24m wide. The parking space in the front allows step-free access to the house.

Das Ferienhaus liegt in ruhiger ländlichen Umgebung. Wir fanden es sehr erholsam, da viel Natur, keine Straßen etc. in der Nähe sind. Außerdem ist alles vorhanden und neuwertig. Uns hat die Lage ist sehr gut gefallen, da es relativ zentral gelegen ist. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett, unaufdringlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt dort gehabt.

Saubere Wohnung gute Ausstattung.
Gut für Familien mit zwei Kindern.
Grosser Garten, Terasse mit Liegestühlen teils überdacht.-Perfekt.
Unkompliziertes und freundliches Mangement.
Katzen, ruhiger Hund und auch Hühner kommen gerne mal im Garten vorbei, zur Freude der Kinder.
Insgesamt also ein sehr guter Eindruck man vermisst die Fewo sogar richtig wenn man wieder abreist.
Und wenn wir noch mal nach Kefalonia fliegen dann gehen wir auf jeden Fall wieder hier hin.
