About this villa rental
Beautifully proportioned, well appointed and stylishly minimalist this property also offers the most mesmerising, panoramic views across the sun-dappled azure waters of the Ionian Sea to neighbouring Zakynthos.
Five bedrooms each with an en suite shower room, a bright open plan living area, sauna, steam room and even a small gym, ensure the interior certainly does not lack appeal however it is surely outside that is destined to be the focus of holiday attention. Here private, lawned grounds, a haven of rural tranquillity, house a summer kitchen with shaded dining area, gorgeous infinity-edged pool and plenty of sun-soaked terracing unfolding over several levels.
Well-stocked mini-markets and two highly regarded local tavernas can all be found in the laid-back, quintessentially Greek village of Spartia which is just a few minutes' drive away as is the village's lovely sandy cove beach (2.2km) where you will find clear, shallow waters backed by limestone cliffs and a friendly local taverna.
Within fifteen minutes the golden sands at Avithos have a beach bar and two tavernas while Agios Thomas has two coves, one sandy and one rocky with a further taverna adjacent. In addition to these there are three other particularly lovely sandy beaches, Lourdas, Trapezaki and Makris Yialos, each about a twenty minute drive
Please note: Low balcony walls, open-barred poolside fencing and the presence of gym equipment mean that young children would need supervision.
Please note: The Greek Government charge a Climate Tax which is payable by guests staying in hotels and other properties. For Christina the charge is a flat rate of €15 (£13.04) per night. For your convenience we will add this amount to your booking, rather than you having to pay it in resort.
