Such a lovely little find

Easy communication, easy to find and great location. We especially loved the milkshake machine at the farm literally along the road! My 6 year old didn't want to go anywhere, she just wanted to stay in the caravan haha! Would definitely stay again.

Only downside was being next to the train tracks. It didn't impact me or my daughter but my husband is a super light sleeper so he struggled to sleep through the noise. That was my fault for not checking the location, though. Personally, it didn't bother me haha

It was a very comfortable stay. There were 5 of us and it worked out nicely and it didn't feel too cramped. The information about the stay was excellent.

The kitchen was not that well equipped for us to cook a meal. The sofa bed was not that comfortable.

Kendals little secret location 😘😘

The location for us was perfect, tranquil & peaceful with beautiful views. Only a short distance from Windermere etc! Immaculately clean, well presented & Sara on hand if you needed assistance! Big bonus for the children was the smart tv & awesome WiFi!

We did me an iron & board but that is all we can fault with this beautiful little place.

Great Holiday Park - shame about the caravan.

Lovely caravan park, in a great location. Nice and quiet if that's what you're looking for. Comfy beds, clean linen and a good night's sleep for those in the bedrooms.

Caravan needs some upgrading. Stains on walls, peeling/old furniture, sold as a 4 bed holiday but the blinds in the living room are so broken you can't keep the light out for the people using the sofa bed.

Quietish rural location Sara was helpful and informative and quick to reply to messages/ questions we had

Mould on the curtains of both caravans and on the ceiling. Also ants in one of the 2 caravans we hired. Train line right behind caravans thats not mentioned in description both caravans we had felt a little dated. both caravans had the vinyl wrap of the table and sideboard peeling off and both needed a bit of tlc to the outside of them. broken seals to the windows

Very quiet. Spacious accommodation. Very attentive hosts.

2 of the mugs provided were chipped and the patio decking was beginning to rot in places. Part of the vertical blinds in the lounge was missingThe host offered to replace the mugs immediately and said the other faults would be remedied once we had vacated.

Everything, it was the dirtiest, smelliest dampest caravan I've ever stayed in There were more flies than I've seen in my life. We left and went to stay in a hotel. Unfortunately, I would never recommend this place to anyone unless they clean the place up.

Weekend mini break

This is a lovely quiet location, although there's a train track nearby and the trains could be heard we didn't find this too intrusive. The views from the lounge window are amazing, friends cows and sheep! The host was very lovely and when we couldn't find an item in the kitchen she brought it round! It was a lovely place to relax and unwind, a shirt drive from attractions and shops.

A beautiful setting, peaceful and perfect for our family. The caravan was amazing- just what we needed for our break! Especially the bath! That was ideal with 3 children. Outside areas were great and safe for the kids to play. Local by car to everywhere we wanted to go too. The countryside setting is stunning, especially at sunset. Would really recommend a trip to Lakeside and the steam train to Haverthwaite. Owner and family were really friendly and was nice to be greeted when we arrived.

The sofa bed was really uncomfortable. We hoovered the caravan before we left and the wires on the hoover were taped up which is quite dangerous.

I like the small quiet location as I have a boy with autism and he can get sensory overload. So it was a good base close to many attractions for the kids.

Liked the space and cleanliness inside.

Constant trains passing were very annoying there were too many to ignore this was day and night. This kept me awake and meant we did not sleep well. Location too far away from any shops. On the website said there was a local shop, we were unable to find one.

Superb

Beautiful quiet location. Great for visiting our family. Lovely little garden with shady seating during the very hot weather. 2 parking spaces were perfect. When we had questions we had a super quick answer and when the microwave broke it was replaced within hours - it's how you respond to problems that really proves how good a host you are! These guys are fab.

Some folk may not like the closeness of the Trainline. Small local trains pass. We were fine with it.
