Good location near plenty of good restaurants. I had a rental car and the location was great accessing roads to explore the areas around Olbia. The room was clean and quiet. The Wi-Fi worked well. The breakfast was very good and provided many gluten free options. The staff are friendly and helpful.
The room while clean and quiet was very basic and lacked any comfort besides the bed. One plastic desk chair. The air conditioner worked just enough to cool the room but it was still a little warm in the room at times. The shower stall had a crack between the glass panel and the wall and the water leaked all over the bathroom floor each time the shower was used. I mentioned it to the staff but it didn't get repaired during my stay. I had to use one of my towels to soak up the puddle of water after each shower. L'Essenza is over priced for the quality of the room. Overall I had a good stay.

mattress let a lot to be desired. the shower only had a handheld wand and the slide mechanism was broken
